This is unavoidable. African Union is a clusterfuck so they run out of targets. We must make our stand against them.
Our "stand" would last about 3 turns and end with us no longer existing.

Basically this. AU seems uncontrolled, we might need help just to survive their rouge members. And at some point Jenkins is going to have to make a decision between the paper strength of all these nations he can't control and the real, but lesser, strength of goodwill with the UBA. If we act super aggressive without his consent I feel that would make it more likely for him to chose his own rogues over us. And that would pretty much spell the end of the UBA.

It's my personal opinion that these attacks should be treated as a declaration of war by the African Union, as it's clear they weren't accidental attacks.
However, Jenkins may have had no knowledge of these attacks, in which case he must immediately remove the AU members from the alliance and renounce any support of these nations.

That's a really dangerous stance to take. What happens if Jenkins says "Fine. War it is."? We will all die. I agree that he should kick out these rogue nations, but we really really are not in a stance to make demands.

Survival is our greatest concern right now, ideologies and revenge are secondary. And Survival is best served by peace until we have make a deal with Jenkins to take out the rogues.

Christ people. If you are going to go out in public on the main forums, and this might be hypocritical of me to say, try to not fucking kill the whole alliance?

Please don't take unilateral stances and put them on the bloc forum. This is not your decision but the alliance's one.

Survival is our greatest concern right now, ideologies and revenge are secondary. And Survival is best served by peace until we have make a deal with Jenkins to take out the rogues.

The fact is, either:

A: Jenkins had no knowledge of these attacks, they were attacks by rogue nations within the AU

B: Jenkins did have knowledge of these attacks, and gave his implicit support

Personally, I find scenario A to be the far more likely option, HOWEVER:

In the case of scenario A, allowing the rogue nations (with obvious disregard for Jenkins' leadership, and obvious hostile intent towards the UBA) to remain in the AU, and not forcing them to pay significant reparations, is unacceptable

In the case of scenario B, it doesn't matter what stances we take in regard to the issue, we're still at war

(just to be clear, I find scenario B very unlikely)

It's my personal opinion that these attacks should be treated as a declaration of war by the African Union, as it's clear they weren't accidental attacks.

I edited my post on the bloc forums for you

There's another option, aside from being destroyed.

We start finding allies, and soon. If the AU membership has gone rogue, and they've started turning aggressive, there's a good chance that others might side with us against them.

We need to cultivate that, now. Create a super-alliance of non-AU groups with a mutual defense vs. the AU pact.

Also, what do I need to do to get on the private forum?

Register, and ask to get screened. I believe we have lots of things to discuss, especially about the organization of our alliance, that would be better off on the forum.

Well apparently the Comintern considers us as "Defensive Allies", but I've yet to see any public display of support yet.

Also, for people concerned about my possible "shit stirring/warmongering" hawkish stance on the forums, I've already discussed the issue with Jenkins and he was 110% OK with it, even supporting my stance to an extent

Can I get screened for the forum then? I guess it might become important now.

So what kind of UN hit am I look at for accidentally hitting Axis of Evil?

I heard that like... They reset you? Troops and growth at least are set back to starting levels. Other things as well?

Bananers from the OP, anyways. Haven't seen him on the forum though.

Chance of reset, but it's a low one. Other bad stuff like sanctions is more likely. Find another red nation to attack if possible and climb out.
