Okay, I found a fabulous nation to attack. questionable, 3k troops, finest of the 19th century tech, no training, 200mil GDP.

I think its good anyways. What do I get for winning such a war? Also, this rankings hunting totally reminds me of spacefed galactic empires.

I doubt it'd bring anything from joining it, and if the AU found out he was trying to make some supr sekret alliance he'd just get laughed at. Maybe if he get's sizable support from other people, but just us joining? No thanks.

You would instantly win as soon as you attacked. You would gain 50 GDP (25%) and half? of their oil. If they have a reputation that is NOT red, you will lose reputation as well.

I'll think they'll notice a bunch of UBA inviting the rest of the UBA.

Honestly the idea of a general (as in no previous organization) secret alliance is a neat idea, but I don't think it will go far before being discovered. 
With the powers that be I doubt they will like finding out that there is a secret group forming.  Knowing them they will either dislike that they weren't invited (I'm serious, this has caused Goons to attack a lot of people in previous games) or they will see it as just another anti-GGU/IFAP group.  Either way, ends in tears.

Also could just be an elaborate scam.

I doubt he is the leader of the organization. Kinda why I want to get in and find out their entire member list and such. Could also garner us some goodwill from the other alliance too.

I think that is just a hard coded thing MoLAoS. People in this thread have said you can only attack people with 200% to 75% your GDP. And at least for the 75% limit that seems to be totally true.
