Free market is nice at start, though central or mixed seems more efficient when you're bigger. To turn more left, either nationalize or raise min wage.

Nationalize aligns you with Eastern Bloc with a lower price, just rep cost. The other economies give you hospitals and housing, amazing stuff you shouldn't miss out on. And get Humanitarian Aid, it's amazing

I'm keeping by growth at a nice 15 so I won't grow too quickly and have the power to back it. Also no oil, how sad.

The important note about my loans as that they are intended to be spent on the amazing "aid" action. Anything else is pretty much a waste. So if you've grown beyond that, the offer no longer applies.

Honestly war mongering over growth has worked out for me. Only when you stabalize do I build it up. You need 40 crates of rifles to get to WW2 tech. Generally recommended to get at around 500 GDP status.

Okay I made a nation, and I picked the starter thingy that gives approval and quality of life. What should I do with my monies? At what point should I prospect for oil and does it really matter if I am successful?

I am an african planned economy which I believe are the requirements for being in the group here.

We were just joking about the economy requirement (I think), just have to be an African Communist. Since your new we have this loan program where volunteers fuel newcomers money for Humanitarian Aid.
