Well, at the very least we could aid Comintern's leader via sending him troops, since the main aggressor of Yotsuba& happens to be under attack from him. I'd hazard a guess that the war would be shorter upon the Comintern's victory.

Not to mention W.U.T happens to be on hiatus due to the ongoing war, it won't be ratified until after the current conflict is concluded.

There's really no harm in joining with half of the alliances in a war that will end as soon as a couple alliances are peaced with. Imo.

Yeah, but what I'm asking is do we really want to affiliate with the big alliances at this point? Originally, I was very much for joining in on the W.U.T. treaty, but at this point I'd personally find it better to remain independent and just pick off the alliances we want.

I don't really want to aid any side at this point, because they're both kind of shitty. But if you guys really want to help one side or another, I'll go along with it.

My preferred path right now would be gearing up to fight a small alliance as an initiation into alliance warfare (The African Legion for example.) But to fight them, we'd need around the same amount of high GDP nations they have, so they can't just have all of their non-occupied 1000 GDP nations just produce a bunch of troops/cash/oil to send off to other nations we're fighting.

That doesn't rule out international aid though. Of course, in that scenario, we may also receive aid from foreign benefactors.  As for the current war, it could well be a sign that the WUT is proving effective, and that what we're seeing is how enforcement of said treaty works.

Still, I'm going to agree with you that a wait-and-see approach is better here for the time being. Though anyone who is under attack should post it here so we can review the threat and (If tghey're aligned with an alliance) potentially defuse the thread/get dragged into the war.

Schools and hospitals are more effective for QoL.

They are considerably more expensive at higher levels, though. A school is about twice as expensive as housing currently for me.

And an update on the current state of affairs, it looks like peace talks have broken down. I suggest we just sit back, and watch the rest of the world burn (Because aside from small GDP brushfire wars, Africa is a peaceful utopia at the moment). Doesn't look like the war will end anytime soon though.

Since apparently chemical weapons ("dirty tactics") seems to be the part on the Yotsuba war, genocide/total war has been called on them.

About WUT. It seems to be mainly the treaty from extremely big alliances (IFAP, GOON), which we are completely unable to even begin to compete with. Attacking big alliances like that is suicide anyway, so signing would only be a plus, since it would prevent alliance war. It's kinda like a RL ONU, so while it isn't really a huge boon, I believe it is beneficial for us (non aggression pact with bigger alliances, mostly).
I mean, IFAP, GOON are dominating the game, and they often attack small alliances for no reason, if we could avoid that, that would be great, not that what they're doing is great.

Also, S. Dirkastan, you should ask for heavy reparations, we'll stomp him otherwise (let's be the bullies of really small nations !).
