In diplomatic interests, it's best for us to sign. Looking at the signatories, we shouldn't have too many dramas. I would certainly like a guarantee that we won't end up breathing Sarin, and this agreement is the best chance for it.

I suppose, I guess some of the other alliance leaders just rubbed off on me the wrong way. Don't want to fuck over the alliance due to first impressions, so I'll sign it for us. I'm just really doubting the effectiveness of this treaty, and whether or not it'll just result with everyone getting mad at each other for no reason.

Yeah the treaty seems totally ineffective, but basically it would give free license for any members to attack non-member alliances without dissent from fellow alliances.

The treaty seems a lot more open ended than the last draft, which is a good and bad thing. The good thing is that it'll be harder to break rules, and therefore harder for a crisis to occur because someone accidentally broke the rules/was literally not able to "play" by the rules (old reparations anyone  ::)). The bad thing is that without clear rules, you can bend them very easily. At least INNAWDS isn't on the WUT. I heard they have no central leadership from a few people, and was told you can pretty much attack any of them and probably get away with it as long as it doesn't drag out very long.

Got 70mbbl out of the war with ACE, which I promptly sold for somewhere between 2 and 3 million. My 59k troops are now at elite training, I have an almost not meagre airforce, and a secret agent just because. Part of me regrets not building a second oil well but I've got a seriously kickass military for my GDP range.

I dunno, they only had 1 production per turn, it's the only reason I attacked them. I offered the terms a few hours ago and they didn't respond until just as the war between comintern and ACE ended at which point I went and peaced them and was surprised to find myself receiving 70 mbbls of oil for no raisin.

Heh, it's kind of a pity we're in Africa. The African region bonus is pretty lousy; if we weren't all already established I'd say do middle east or Asia (for free economic zone).

The Africa bonus is awesome, but it's an early game bonus. We've grown much more quickly than we could have anywhere else.

How much DOES the blood diamond policy hurt you? Can you do it with max stability, QoL, and approval and just let their positives negate the effects or does it tank you?
