No problem, but your free market policies clearly angered the ancient dinosaur proletariat across the time waves, leading to them spiting you.

I took great pleasure in telling a fledgling Asian warmonger who approached me for war aid to GTFO. The peaceloving nation of Aygurstan remains a shining example of moral superiority, towering above you senseless murderers.

Yeah, got no oil either, oh well, I guess we'll just have to buy copious amounts of it, atleast money isn't hard to come by since I'm nearly at 200 GDP. Not really exciting this game to be honest, then again I haven't gone to war with anyone, mostly because it's a rather big pain in the ass to look for viable targets, plus my reputation is kinda low from all the bling I be sellin'

I think we should probably think about organizing an alliance-wide funding type thingy, so we can pump a lot of money into one nation to make them strong, then move onto another one. Not entirely sure how people would like this though, since waiting around to give your money to someone else isn't exactly fun. Although if even twenty people donated a simple 100K, it could definitely speed up someone's development in terms of technology.

I think an oil drilling grant thing would be a very good idea, here's 2 possibilities.
1: Larger nations pool money to provide startup cash for drilling to each country who asks.
2: Any nation requests drilling money and any nation can provide that money, with the receiving nation providing 2mbbl per 100k upon successful drilling. Considering that successful drilling provides 10mbbl off the bat, sale at ~50k per mbbl would more than pay for drilling.
Ideally every nation would be eastern bloc and centrally planned for this, I think, to cut down on costs.

I was thinking more in terms of military development, but that would work to. Arguably though, focusing a lot of money on one nation for oil drilling is probably the best. I'd rather have one nation producing ten mbbl's per turn than ten nations producing one mbbl a turn.

Thats a good idea. Now heres a question, will a single box of AKs boost you from 18th century to say, world war two tech?

Looking at most the larger countries I don't see that happening, which makes me think it's not practical. I believe that you can only send a limited number of barrels per day, making producing much more than that limit not very useful. Costwise, $400k is not only easier to raise than $1000k but a better deal with middle eastern countries.

You cannot buy AK's until you purchase forty boxes of Lee-Enfields. The best ways to quickly boost nations to WW2 would be for ten volunteers to donate 100K a day to the nation in question, and have them instantly spend it entirely on weapon crates. After four days, we could switch to the next person. Granted, it'd go much quicker if more people were involved, but expecting the entire alliance to do it is foolish.

I'm not really interested in boosting oil production anyways, and interested nations can do that on their own. If we need oil badly, we can always set up a deal with one of the countries that are entirely dedicated to selling oil.

After warring four inactive nations, I have become one of the countries with highest GDP in the UBA. I guess it works!
