I'm pretty sure we can't do that. You can already get banned for abusing the war mechanic, so it'd be a bad idea to abuse it for reputation. Don't do it.

Cause I just went to Decent, but I would really like to get an airforce of some sort and then hopefully by that time be gaining growth from stability so I can build my military before I try to focus on becoming huge. Also, how many planes do you have to have for each level of airforce, and does it go down?

It isn't. I just know that he doesn't like two active players agreeing to a result in a war beforehand. The original case is via declaring war on someone, so no one else can attack them and never doing any real damage. Abusing it for reputation is very similar to this, and I doubt he'd want people to do it.

Also, speaking of interesting events, I've had a recent proposition from one of the leaders of the African Union.

Hey, Corporal Ross of FLAP and I are working to make an international organization that will increase cooperation and communication among alliances to help the forum atmosphere.  I'd like it if you could join us in creating the charter, since you're relevant group in Africa.  We'll be forming the charter in IRC this weekend, probably the 21st.  If you could let me know what time is good for you, that'd be great.

Now, if you are unaware, FLAP is essentially the group propped up by the Goons and Facepunch alliances (Primarily the Facepunch alliance, from the looks of it) as a way for public players to still fight with them (Since the GGU and IFAP are restricted to people who go on their forums.) There have been attempts to form international coalitions before, similar to the U.N, but they haven't panned out.

As the Supreme Leader of The U.B.A., I ask for your opinion. Do we accept, and send ambassadors (Me, maybe some other trustworthy people) to this IRC meeting to hash out a charter? I am unaware of the other nations choosing to partake in it, but I'm sure all of the big groups in the entire game will be there. This is a pretty big event if enough interest is gathered, and we can properly make a name for ourselves in the grand scheme of things.

What I'm worried about though, is the potential presence of the alliances primarily fueled by capitalism. Being the communistic, equality loving alliance we are, it'd be unwise to sign a charter that'd benefit them. So, what do you guys think?

I want to see if the Comintern is going to show up, but I find it unlikely as they're currently going through a "Reign of Terror" due to internal issues. The leader claims that he doesn't want to be involved in foreign affairs until the issue is solved, so they might not show. That would mean we'd probably be the only communist alliance (Maybe the Che Guevara League would show up, I'm not sure how active they are though.)

Even if there are no fellow communists there, and we have no intention of signing, we can show ourselves and use our potential to sign to manipulate the document to our benefit, then refuse to sign on the grounds that we did not achieve what we wanted. In this way, we could manipulate the treaty subtly to be more favorable without signing it ourselves, or simply make it more unstable so that the capitalist diplomatic efforts fail. For example, we could try to get chemical weapons banned from all members of the treaty. Since we do not sign, we are not bound by the restriction, but the capitalists are, and likely the tensions between member alliances would keep the sanction in place.
