Well, I'm back, the thread doubled, my gdp barely increased, but angelic rep, unsinkable, worshipped as god, good growth. I'm on the low end of the alliance now, but I'm going to get back  :D

Also, had a sweat event because I'm a military junta.

I could choose between three general : army gave me soldiers, air gave me planes, and special forces chemical wep advancement. I chose chemical advancement (which gave me 10%, without rep loss !).

Reputation is actually noticeable- since it grows so painfully slow, selling diamonds will drag you down over time. But QoL decrease does seem to be negligible.

Question, how does war affect GDP? I've recently begun a war against a dirty Western Sympathiser(!), and I'm quite handedly beating down on the guy, but I've only got the option for white peace. What do I need to do to boost my gdp?

Win the war, natch. To win the war, you have to send an offensive against the enemy that leaves him with less than 5k troops (I don't know if gassing counts, my guess is no). You will then gain 25% of their GDP.

Airstrikes do not help you win a war, except tangentially (by making it less attractive for the enemy to conscript troops)

Just found two AU guys at war with each other -.-

edit: Going to do an attack right before the tic and one right after on some guy with 17k troops and no alliance. Hopefully I'll take him down before he notices. Otherwise might be a bit of a war.

Well I bookmarked it on my comp and am outside right now so I don't have the link up, but nah, troops wouldn't really help. I have 41k and he has 17, his are at standard training and mine are at elite, so if I can't 2 turn him when I more than double his troop numbers then I have a problem.

I tried the two tic thing one someone with 15k yesterday, with myself having 60k rabble and them 15k rabble. Took out 9, leaving them with 6, then only 5k the next turn. Evidently you NEED to get them down to <=5k before invading.

Well they have 4 growth and no alliance, so worst case it takes 5 or so turns.
