Wait, what? 'Correcting'? You're gonna brainwash a poor guy? What the hell, doc? What the hell?

Don't submit to this violation of your human rights!

We should keep with tradition; to run and cause trouble, but I am against this. She show no sign of agression just concern plus we don't need mental probes in our head again.

The doctor glances at you.

"Brainwashing? Hardly. I am going to tell you how i am certain you are female. Because, just over two hours ago, before the mental examination, i did a gyn exam, which is part of your full medical, to make sure that not only were you healthy, but you weren't pregnant or infected with an STD. Whilst i was doing it you were telling me how you broke up with your boyfriend of 3 years because he couldn't accept that you were joining the military."

She smiles and turns to the door, which slides sleekly open for you to leave through.

"Now, shall we go?" She asks innocently.

Wait, that can't be right. You broke up with your boyfriend because he was an asshole! And still insisting on how what he was doing totally wasn't gay! You joining the army was just part of the rebound process!

Something's fishy here. Maybe you should leave quietly. But play along for now, follow her. Don't trust her, though. Don't trust anybody with the last name Sweetland.

You quietly follow Dr Sweetland through the pure white corridors, passing a bustling room after bustling room, ward after ward, until you come across the mental analysis department. At the main desk, a sweet young woman with platinum hair smiles sweetly at you both before directing you to a medium sized room with a strange looking machine in the centre, with desks, equipment, computers and data rooms lining the walls.

Inside the room stand three men. Dr Sweetland greets them and then turns to you.

"Come on in. I am pleased to introduce you to Dr Strangelove, Dr Frankenstein and Professor Delver. They are specialists in their fields. They are here to help and you can trust them." You look a the three men, analysing them for any signs of deceit, although you know not why you would be so cautious, yet none of them show any hostility or cunning. They genuinely look like well meaning and friendly men, with worry and curiosity both prevalent emotions upon their faces.

The first man, the one identified as Dr Strangelove, speaks, with a decidedly German accent.

"Pleased to meet you, Fräulein. Would you be so kind as to undress behind the screen over there..." He points to a screen that was hidden behind a large piece of medical machinery. "...and lie down on the Mental Analysis and Probing Suit's (MAPS) examination table, if you will?"

The man who was identified as Dr Frankenstein moved towards the control panel of the MAPS machine and started tapping rapidly on the keyboard. The one identified as Professor Delver smiled warmly at you and came around the MAPS to guide you gently towards the screen.

What do you do?

Okay, something is definitely up. Very, very definitely up.

Ask if there's any way to get out of this procedure. You believe you've made a mistake here. They can't make you do anything, can they?

You don't need to start panicing just ask how does this procedure works and exactly what does it do.

Guy's name is Dr. Strangelove. If that's not suspicious, I don't know what is.

They are just call signs the doctors use. This might be some secret military base for all we know. More information is needed, like what is with the strange last names.

After you finished undressing, you walk towards the MAPS machine. You are very nervous. You dont know why, but you seem unsettled by the people in the room. They all seem, at least to you, to have very unusual or suspicious names, although you cannot seem to put your finger on why they bring about suspicious feelings.

"Is there, erm, any way out of this procedure?" You ask, nervously.

"Unless you want to pull out of the Nova Pathfinders volunteer recruitment process, No. We will not let anyone in your condition get through to the final stages. You would be a liability to yourself, your team and the entire military." Dr Sweetland and Professor Delver answered, almost in unison.

As they answer, you realise that the door to the room is closed and the control panel is showing a red 'LOCKED' light. You are sure it was green and, most importantly, decidedly unlocked when you came in.

Feeling very nervous, you ask your other question.

"So, what does this procedure do? How does it work?"

"VELL! Dat iz EXTREMELY zimple!" Dr Frankenstein said in very heavily accented English. "All zat you haf to do is zit down on ze MAPS examination table, be hooked up to ze machine and zen you vill let us do ze rest, ya?" The good(?) Doctor seems very happy, although you can still see hints of worry when he looks at you.

Dr Frankenstein continues: "Ya, zis takes me back to ze time we..." He gets sharply elbowed by Professor Delver. " I dont not think the young lady would like to hear about your eccentric hobby experiments, Dr Frankenstein. Not after the last debacle. It took two of our T.I.T.A.N Elite's to take that monstrosity down. We have enough problems with our current enemies. We dont need another one. What, What." Professor Delver has a very posh English accent.

"But, then again, it was never as bad as Dr Strangeloves obsession with..." You don't fail to catch the glancing glare Dr Strangelove sends the English Professor Delver. The professor quickly stops talking.

Shaking their heads at the Professor and Dr F, Dr Strangelove and the lovely Dr Sweetland try to reassure you.

"We wont do anything to hurt you, Fräulein, I promise upon my honour as a gentleman and as a professional medical expert." he smiles, warmly.

"I will be there observing and monitoring everything" Dr Sweetland adds in, also smiling warmly.

Oh yeah, shit's going wrong something fierce around here.

Explain that you've had a wonderful time and all, but you'd like to pull out of the recruitment process.

Also, inconspicuously look around for unknowns in the room aside from the doctors. Also, look for a window of some kind.

"Thanks, but i would like to pull out of the recruitment process, if that wouldn't be too much trouble" You say.

The medical professionals share glances, and then give you worried looks.

"That would be unwise." Professor Delver says, focusing directly, yet calmly on you. You notice that two of the three doctors seem to be focusing on on other spots of the rooms. Dr Sweetland's right hand is slowly moving towards the chest high part of her medical coat. She keeps glancing behind you.

The professor continues. "I would suggest you get on the examination table..." He glances behind you. "Now".

It is then that you realise all 4 of the medical professionals are reaching slowly, yet somehow inconspicuously into their medical coats.

Okay, three presumably invisible unknowns, a simulation of some kind.

Run into one of the spots that the doctors were focusing on. See if situation gets better or far more unusual.

If not, become primed for murder/violent self-defense.
