DF modded: Ectobrush, succession game [Overseers Wanted]
« on: July 09, 2013, 01:54:21 pm »

Welcome to Ectobrush, a succession fortress with a couple mods, all made by me. We have Deer people, who are inevitably going to besiege us, Halflings, who are inevitably going to be boring and Reptile men, who our people are. Here are the rules:
  • You must write in character of the overseer.
  • You must rename one of the reptile men for your character, and give the last on the profession 'Retired Overseer'.
  • At least one event for each dwarven month is the bare minimum for each update.
  • If you want to join, you must post in the thread your guy's name and I will add you to the list.
  • Each turn is 1 dwarven year. After the year is over, the save is either PM'd or made public on the thread.
  • We will start by recruiting 10 'lucky' people as overseer, but if it lasts long enough, I will recruit 5 more.

I hate these people. We were sent to found a new city for the kingdom of Sirabnum. We were headed just past this massive mountain, and we were instructed to steer clear of it; Strange things go on there, they say. But then that stupid mechanic Ullung decided that it would be a better idea to go straight over it. We tried to warn him, but he didn't listen until the moment we crashed into a tree, whereupon he witnessed an ominous mountain with tentacled growing out of the mess of eyes that we were told was the ground. We had no supplies for a new wagon, so we had to make an outpost here of all places. Ullung decided that the overseer shouldn't be the leader, as he has some sort of problem, so I'm stuck with this crappy job as a bookkeeper. We decided on an equally evil-sounding name to go with our surroundings: Ectobrush. So, welcome to Ectobrush, we hope you live long enough to enjoy your stay.
Have fun!
