On the item is an image of It Must Have Been The Dwarf the kangaroo lther-bount book in tetrahedrite. On the item is an image of Reg Brassspeaker the dwarf in andesite. Reg Brassspeaker is laboring. The artwork relates to the settling of the dwarf Reg Brassspeaker in Angelgate in the late autumn of 107.

Well, not really any use, actually. Artifact crafts are useless since as far as I know they cannot be sold to caravans, and they have no use inside your own fortress. The only advantage to that is that you should have a legendary stonecrafter to produce valuable trade goods. If it was a possession, you've gotten nothing.

Yep. Crafts' only use is for selling to caravans, and artifacts can't be sold.

I suppose it does boost your "created wealth" value, if you care about that...

Which is usually bad, because it causes exponential increase in peasant migrants that have to be micromanaged and hurt FPS and eat your resources.

It also causes more goblins, more goblins, more titans, more Uninvited Guests in general, and makes you sad because you can't really get rid of it without making the creator go insane.

Locking him in a room above the magma tube/sea, with the floor of said room being retracting bridges. Then destroy the artifact, as well as it'a creator, if he goes insane?

Btw, is artifact destruction a guaranteed ecstatic->miserable->insane? If not, would it be possible to build an asylum room, with legendary/artifact everything, all the patients favorite foods and drink etc? Or option B, does "doesn't really care about anything anymore" also affect artifact/masterpiece destruction thoughts?

Though adding a new item tag like this would require a re-gen, so not particularly useful in this case.
