Since we enjoy plundering technology so much, I vote we land on Artouteck, on the side of the moon directly opposite the camp and ruins.

Agreed, but why on the other side? Walking distance would be better, methinks.
I'm not too familiar with the 40K verse, what are squats? And what do the stats below the different people mean?

These are Squats: http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Squat
They're essentially space dwarves, "essentially" being the keyword here.

I proposed landing on the opposite side of the moon as we don't currently know anything about the mechanicus camp, or what's hidden in the xenos ruins. If there were surface to space defence silos of some sort hidden in there..

The squats are basicy dwarfs, but biker in space.
They haven't been canon for years. :(

Spoiler: Stats explained (click to show/hide)

With the engines roaring the shuttle speed across the star filled void before swiftly descending down on to  Artouteck.

You swiftly unload your men and start the rhino.
As you cross a small crater suddenly a deep crevice appears behind out of the pale gray dust cloud.
It is quickly followed by a another as the rhino's treads tear in to the soft ground.
Unlucky for you Vabok is not calm driver and as he trys to out run the cracking he loses traction as the ground shallows you.

The rhino tumbles as it falls, sending every one flying.
It lands with a crash, and a pain full scream tell you that you have wounded.
You push past Hannibal as he bandages his bleeding dent human wounded, one of the human pirates lies on the floor his left leg is twisted and broken with bones protruding.
It is clear that there in little you can do for him now and that getting mobile is your first priority.
2 hours later you finaly get out of the hole, another fifteenth and you can see the camp.

It is a small square arrangement of tent and sheds inter mixed with a few sandbag bunkers and walls  about 2 miles from the ruins , as you lie down in the dust you count 3 or 4 adepts and a small a guard squad of 10 men, as there probably on shifts the total maybe closer to 35.

Oops.

Observe the movements and note what sort of shifts the guards have. Also, set up camp.

Wait until night/sleeping time, raid their sleeping quarters. Capture a better pilot.

You stay down in the dust, slowly makeing your way closer to the camp as you watch the movments.

It soon becomes clear that there working in shifts with at most 20 guards men active at one time.

As you observe a orbital body block out the sun for a few brief minutes,  Malachi and Iris rush forwards before throwing there selfs down in to the dust.

You watch the guards change shift as the news that the humans mangled leg has been removed safely reaches you.
You console your self with the knowledge that Hannibal is only suffering from concussion and will be fully recovered in a few hours.

How do you attack the camp?

I also agree with Helgoland's plan to butcher the camp in their sleep. BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!
