Nono, not the current mag. The ones in our inventory, (assuming we have more than one mag (hopefully)).

-if not, that was another thing we should have grabbed when we were back in the spawn building.
Note for asking bud: is that boar worth any ada? (food might be valuable)

We'll probably just load the bullets individually. Shouldn't take too long.

Good idea about the boar. We've got no way to carry it easily, but I'm sure we'll figure something out.

"My name's Guy, and that's Bud. Nice to meet you. Before I answer your question, I need to know if there are more raiders lurking about."

Keep ears/eyes open, don't hand her the gun yet.
Reload the SMG. Charmed. No thats not my name.. Okay, bad joke. I'm Guy and thats Bud over there with the knife. Say hi Bud. *beat* You live around here, or were you just looking for something?

[2] You manually reload your SMG while talking.

"Yeah, hey. Kinda busy dismembering this guy," he says, sawing at the mans wrist.

"I don't live around anywhere. I drift from town to town. My 357 takes care of me... Speaking of which, I should go grab it. Thanks for the save." She takes the spear from the man she knocked out and begins to walk to the east.

You have only one magazine for each weapon, so you have to manually reload each time.

"The badee? Its hide might be worth an ounce or three... Uh, should we stop her?"

Wait! Why don't you come with us? We could use some extra hands, as it happens, and you seem like you can handle yourself. Certainly better than these dumbasses. Kick one of the netted raiders to illustrate my point. I'm not going to say you owe us, I'm sure you could've handled that overgrown pig on your own, but we really do need the kind of help you can offer us right now.

You've got a deal. I just hope you've got more than a .357 and such a... winning personality to your name.

Go to the nearest raider and start taking his hands.

"You're forgetting my good looks," she says as she takes your tokens. She follows you over to the downed raider and watches as you begin to saw off his hands. "I'm all about maiming raiders, but is there a reason you're cutting off their hands?"

Payment. We get a better reward for turning in their hands than their bodies. If we kill them, they'll be back within a month, good as new. So, the owner of this place who put out the bounty wants them maimed and harmless, give him a bit more time before they're back. Hands are good proof of maimed and harmless, so that's what he wants.

"That would be easier with a hack saw, you know. There are tools in the workshop, you want me to look for one?"

"I got it!" Bud cheers, holding up a hand. "That's one down, uh... seven more to go."

"Yeah, see if you can scrounge one up."

Make sure Bud's going through the wrists, not sawing through the lower forearm. Put pressure on the guy's stump while bud cuts the other off- don't want him bleeding out.

"You got it," Silly says, heading to the workshop, spear in hand.

You assist Bud after you're done sawing your own raider's hand. After a few minutes, the raider is completely handless. "Uh, I just thought of something. Should we be wasting Motax on these guys? We gotta stop the bleeding somehow..." He pulls out a syringe of Motax, but doesn't use it.

"Hey guys!" You hear your new ally call.  "Two raiders in the workshop. Both are high on some drug, docile as hell. I took the liberty of tying them up." Silly walks over some scrap and tosses a saw and a large medkit your way. "There's a burner in there, I think. That'll fry their stumps up good. Stop the bleeding. There's still two raiders about. At least, there were eight here earlier... I'm getting some of this cash, right?" She found a backpack, apparently. And her magnum in her holster.

We're being paid in Adachrite. How we'll be dividing it, we'll see about when we've got it. And good thinking with the medkit, now we don't have to wast Motax on these idiots.

Also, Bud, we may as well strip them, they might have a few credits or some Motax of their own. Silly, keep an eye out for the other two.

Cauterize the wounds of the two already missing hands, then strip them of armor and equipment. Start sawing another raider's hands once that's done, then cauterize and strip him too.

"We usually pool our resources, but consider an even part of whatever we find yours, in addition to the 50 tokens."
(Hmm, they haven't showed up yet, so they're either waiting for the right time to strike, (doubt it, raiders don't seem to have the mental capacities for that), or they're out)
"Silly, jump up into that watch tower for us- they may have gone out for a time or something, but in any case you'd have an easier time spotting them from up there. I'll help bud finish up here, watch his back."

((Are there half-units here, or does the all or nothing rule apply to potions/motax? I'm thinking burn'em, then either a. topically apply less than 1 unit of motax to help them heal, or dress their wounds. Cauterizing may stop the bleeding, but it does nothing for infection.))

-It must be awfully noisy here, with 4 screaming raiders. I don't think we should trust our ears.
