What are these..? You turn the tokens over in the palm of your hand before putting them back in the bag. Don the gown. See if there is any fluid inside the syringes. Read the pamphlet. Examine those tokens a bit more closely.

((I'm getting some serious Deadman Wonderland vibes from this.))

Equip syringes to weapon slot. Read letter.

"These syringes should make decent weapons..." you say to yourself. Whether your serious or not is up in the air.

The pamphlet reads:

Welcome to your new home! You have been awakened-- or revived-- from your sleep or death! If you have already read this, skip to the back panel, otherwise, read on! You have been convicted of crimes against the state! A small frowny face punctuates the sentence. No matter! You'll be a functioning member of our new society here in PROJECT REDEMPTION! You will work for the system until your sentence is through! That means, if your sentence to 200 years, you will live, work, die, and work again until you've worked through your entire sentence! Isn't that great? Below is the personalized letter to you from your sector warden: The body of the pamphlet is blank, barring a few period and random letters. Wow, what a stand up guy/gal! Look on the back for your time spent, and time owed! The last page of the pamphlet has a red 203/1439 YEARS in bold. Below is a date: 14/03/78 and a big THANK YOU.

You put on the gown, and are no longer cold. There is fluid inside the syringes... it's filled with a clear liquid, hard to notice.

"What are these?" you ask as you examine the small tokens. They are minted with someones face on one side... you don't recognize him. There are letters on the other side: PR.

Project Redemption eh? At least its better than being six feet under. I hope.. Look for a way out.

You exit the medbay armed with the knowledge that you're cursed to live several lives. But where are the guards? As you leave, the automated door seals. You guess some things still work.

The hallway is in a similar condition to that of the medbay. That is, it's destroyed. There are several doors in this hallway, all sealed the way your pod room has been. You turn left, as the hallway ends to the right. You walk down a ways until you come upon a metal vault door. It's cracked open, so you go ahead and push it the rest of the way. You open it to reveal a new hallway, going left and right. Directly ahead of you lies a decomposing body under what you assume is the directory for this place. The body smells worse than it looks, and it looks rather defiled.

Empty one of the syringes of fluid.

You're not sure what's in these syringes. Maybe it's valuable... Maybe it's not.

You squirt the contents of the syringe onto the floor.

Use empty syringe to inject air into a primary artery, causing heart failure.

You briefly sing the lyrics to 'Injection Heart Failure' by 'Ajaxus' in your head. Unfortunately, this does not make seeing a decomposing dead body any more pleasant.

Lick you up the liquid from the floor.

You inject yourself with one of the full syringes. After a few seconds, you begin to notice everything become more... real. You can pick up on the small details of your environment. You notice the dead person in front of you was killed by two bullets to the head, and you can read the directory from here. 'Sector 12, Right- Pods 51-100, Right- Armoury, Right- Barracks, Left- PR, Left- Ration Depot, Left- Exchange'.

Just bloody go left, for chrissakes.

Walking down the hallway, you begin to hear some noises. The chittering of insects. Large insects. The end of the hallway leads into a large atrium. Leaning around the corner, you find the source of the noises. Two large, insect-like creatures, giant green scarabs. One is bleeding black ichor, lying in the corner, while the other is devouring a dead body. There are four human dead bodies spread around the atrium, all wearing strange armour, with weapons at their sides. A hammer, two spears, and a pistol. There are several dead scarabs. The live scarabs don't notice you. And there's the exit! You can see the daylight pouring through the large opening on the far side of the atrium. Unfortunately, one of the scarabs is directly in the way.

Grab the hammer and pistol and don the armor, then make your way to the ration depot.

Grab the hammer and pistol and don the armor, then make your way to the ration depot.

Out of fear of the scarabs, you begin sneaking to avoid detection. [1+4] Unfortunately, you step on an old syringe and attract the attention of the green scarab! You quickly pick up the hammer and the pistol, [2] one of which you cannot hold so you put it into your bag, before the scarab turns around to face you. It flares its wings, moving towards you slowly. The injured scarab doesn't move.
