I realize that, and I agree. Just not yet is all. Just in case something bad happens.

Search directory for a garage.

You go back to the directory and look more closely. Most of the other entries have been scratched up or worn off. There doesn't seem to be an entry for 'Garage'. It says 'L 2' is to the right, along with many pod rooms.

Equip hammer. Go to pod rooms.

You equip your trusty hammer and make your way to the nearest pod room. There are many, so you just choose pod room one in the nearby hallway. The door is... less than penetrable. There are no handles or knobs, nothing to pull or push.

[3+20] You try as hard as you can to force it open with your strength, then your knife. Nothing works. You go on to pod room two just across the hall. It doesn't budge. You decide the next best action is to go onto your own pod room, pod room 23. It turns out to be just as impenetrable as the others. There seems to be no getting back into any of these pod rooms.

Continue to armory.

You return to the armoury. It's in much the state you left it. Ransacked and empty.

Now on to L2.

You walk down the hallway until you reach its end. A sign points upstairs, 'L2'. You follow its lead up the stairs to find a three hallways, left, right, and in front. There are also stairs leading further up. Where to go? A few nearby directories allows you to better make your decision.

Left hallway:
Pods 101-200

Right hallway:
Pods 201-300

Forward hallway:
Classrooms
Acclimation Centre
Storage
Terminals

Are any of the pods different from the ones we saw previously?

Forward.

Are any of the pods different from the ones we saw previously?

You begin to walk down the forward hallway, making a personal note to check on the pods when you've explored the rest of this place.

Walking down the hallway, the first room you come upon is classroom one, with classroom two just across. This pattern continues for as far as you can see, until the hallway ends in a split. Do you wish to enter these classrooms, or keep going?

keep going, head to the Acclimation Centre the visit the Storage area.

You skip the classrooms and head to the acclimation centre. The hallway ends in a split, but the directory tells you the centre is on the left. Walking down the hallway, you come upon heavy double doors, the entrance to the centre. Inside you find the room somewhat destroyed, but not as badly as the other rooms. There are damaged exercise machines, weights, and looted lockers. You also find two small pools, eight feet in diameter and lined with various destoryed machinery. Both pools are empty, of course. There are broken terminals on the wall, their screens smashed and innards salvaged. A basketball court occupies the last third of the room. Surprisingly, there are still basketballs in the metal bin near the corner.

Seeing nothing too interesting or valuable, you turn around and head to the other hallway, which ends with two rooms. One labeled 'storage', and another labelled 'terminals'. The storage room door offers no resistance as you push it open. Inside you find a wide room with large shelves lining the walls and dividing the area into aisles. Crates, most pried open, litter the floor and line the shelves. Some are as tall as you, while others are small as a shoe box. A quick examination shows the crates are labelled. The ones labelled 'weapons and ammo', 'medicine', 'clothing and armour', 'rations', 'tech', 'water', and 'misc' have all been looted. The only ones still sealed are labelled 'office', 'books', and 'lab'. One large crate labelled 'MARTY' is open, filled with various robot parts.
