Planet Explorers

Planet Explorers is a game that had a successful Kickstarter a while back. It's a voxel(but not blocky) survival/exploration game set on an alien planet. You have crash landed and have to build up a camp for your survival and more. It features missions/story as well as a sandbox. I have played 3 of the different alpha clients and honestly had written it off as garbage that couldn't be executed. I am very happy to say I was wrong. the 0.6 Alpha was released today and it's an actual game now. It's still not optimised and has tons of more content getting added, but for the first time it's cool and fun. Unfortunately, this version and all of those forward are only available to paid supporters.
I suggest you keep an eye out for extended LP's and consider getting on board with this one. It looks like it's going to be a huge time suck for me as it's already way more implemented than Kenshi.

It's going for $21 right now which is steep. I usually recommend avoiding such pricey alpha/betas but this one I actually think is worth it. http://planetexplorers.pathea.net/order/

Is she fighting giant robots? Is that a regular thing? Killing stuff bigger than me really gets me off (Shadow of the Colossus).

Don't we have a thread for this already?

It didn't come up in my first search because the name was buried at the end of the topic name. Will close this one.
