"No idea, but it would be useful to find out."  Lokk-Agar then turns to Armoth.  "Any luck with that terminal over there?"

Access terminal. Gather all facility information I can (especially location/floor plan) if the data is not restricted.

"Hm. Which floor are we on, guys? Does anybody know?"

Look around for any sign of which floor this might be.

You look around but find no indication of which floor this is.

Access terminal. Gather all facility information I can (especially location/floor plan) if the data is not restricted.

You activate the terminal. The keyboard flips out of the wall and a keycard slot appears.

Please insert a C class or above authorization key to continue...

"Every brawler worth his salt is going to be there. That is, if they have one of these." He holds up a golden coin. "I'm a recruiter for the tourney. We can't have just any fighter with 100 creds entering. I think you have what it takes to at least put on a good show for the crowd... If you have the creds to buy in. And this coin, of course. You interested?"

Your opponent was dragged upstairs and to the pit doc, who seems to be fixing the brute's nose. He's still unconscious.

Scout out the middle path.

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

After considering it for a moment Alexis nods.

"Sure why not, will it have gambling and if so how low do you think the odds on me will be?"

Enter the tournament, go wait for the fighter to wake up.

Are drugs illegal in the tournament? ))

Turn disc into earpiece

Looks like the terminal is protected. Should I attempt to break in with SeeThrough?

"I wouldn't.  Though knowing the layout will be useful, if we get detected this early in the mission it's going to be rough, and you haven't really had much opportunity to test that thing."

Scout the hallway turning left.

Beats roaming the halls, though. We've got jack shit for guidance, unless one of you lot sees something I don't. And I doubt they'd send an entire security detail: if the dockworkers have physical access to it it can't be that valuable.

Note location of terminal, examine room for anything else that is unusual.

See if there are any directions on the walls, such as pointers to where each door leads.

Scout out the middle path.

You sneak along the middle path, stopping at the end of the hallway. The room you come to isn't as big as the docks, but it has a central staircase going up and down. A small fountain decorates each corner of this room, along with holoscreens. Though they are deactivated. There's a security checkpoint on the south side, next to another hallway, where an unarmoured security guard is stationed, but he's facing away from you, watching a TV. Across from you, on the west side, a hallway leads away. Above the west hallway, 'LAB 1-4' is painted. Finally, there is a north hallway, guarded by two men in light security armour wielding ballistic rifles. More surprising, though, is the woman in a full armoured suit, wearing a laser edge sword on her back along with a bow. She wears the emblem and colours of the Dread Mothers, an infamous merc troupe. Above that hallway, 'LAB 5-8' is painted.

The Dread Mother is scolding the two guards loudly.

"You will not get away with lazing about while me and my sisters are here. Stay at your stations and try not to be any more incompetent than you already are." She takes her leave of them, heading down the north hallway. The guards mutter angrily to themselves when she leaves.

"I wouldn't.  Though knowing the layout will be useful, if we get detected this early in the mission it's going to be rough, and you haven't really had much opportunity to test that thing."

Scout the hallway turning left.

You make your way down the left hallway. Looking around the corner at the end of the hallway, you see a long reception room. A desk sits in the middle of the room, but no secretary occupies it. There are a few of doors on the south side of the room, glass doors leading to the outside. You can see a few guards stationed outside the doors. A hallway leads to the north, while another leads to the west on the far side of the room.

Beats roaming the halls, though. We've got jack shit for guidance, unless one of you lot sees something I don't. And I doubt they'd send an entire security detail: if the dockworkers have physical access to it it can't be that valuable.

Note location of terminal, examine room for anything else that is unusual.

The terminal is in the wall adjacent to the garage door on the north side of the room. Besides the terminal, heavy machinery, docks, and many crates there isn't much else to see here.

See if there are any directions on the walls, such as pointers to where each door leads.

Nope, there are no signs or directions on the walls.

After considering it for a moment Alexis nods.

"Sure why not, will it have gambling and if so how low do you think the odds on me will be?"

Enter the tournament, go wait for the fighter to wake up.

(( How much would drugs to increase the effect of physical training cost? What about drugs that give energy boosts or give a short burst of improvement to specific stats?

Are drugs illegal in the tournament? ))

He tosses you the coin. The man walks with you over to the downed fighter. "There will be betting alright, but the main prize is the pot of all the entry fees. At 100c each, that should add up to 3200. That's 2400 for the winner, and 800 for the runner up. I couldn't tell you your starting odds, though. Couldn't hazard a guess."

The brute finally wakes up, a bit delirious. "Wha? Oh, God dammit! Fuck!" He sits up, wrinkling his face. "Shit, that hurts... Huh? What d'you want, bitch?" he growls at you.

((For boosts to training? Probably a lot, and rare. For boosts to stats, not as much. And yes, no drugs in the tourney.))

(( What about the standard things like vitamin and mineral tablets that you take every day? ))

Alexis glares down at the man for a moment.

"Do you want to rethink the way your talking to me? Or do I need to break a few more bones before you learn some manners?
I came to make you an offer, I need to put together a little crew to do some odd jobs to make money and you need money and training to fight.
So why don't you get over the fact that I spanked you like a little girl in front of all those people and join me?

Or do I need to snap your arms off before you come to your senses?
"

Lean down and twist the mans arm behind his back, hard. Tell him to work for me. If he refuses then snap both his arms.

"How 'bout you suck my-- H-hey!" he yells in protest as you twist his arms behind his back. Some of the onlookers to the match look back and approach the scene.

"Careful, now. These guys are more loyal to Harold than they are to you. Break his arm, and you might not make it out of here..." the recruiter says.

"Hehehe, it's alright guys. I kinda like this bitch. Okay, I'll follow you around. S'long as I get some cash out of it."

"Good boy, oh and about what you were about to say. Impress me and you might be surprised how willing I am to reward you."

Winking at him teasingly she then walks off pulling him along behind her.

Go find somewhere to train with my new friend, find out what he can do and what equipment he has.

(( His stats, weapons and armor. ))

"Man, this place sucks. Not a bit of direction in sight. Damn it."

Take a look down the right door (the most northern one). Follow it sneakily if nothing is immediately hostile or troubling down that way.
