You are in one of the many brawling pits in the Depths. The fights are slightly amusing, but you figure you have better things to do than watch idiots knock each other's teeth out.

What do you do?

I get myself entered into a fight preferably against one of the weaker fighters, check the stats for the person I'm against and the betting odds on my fight.

I wonder if there's a car in the garage we could steal to make our escape? They wouldn't have a garage if they didn't have cars, and the head researcher had to get here somehow...

(( The character didn't really fit in the end for the way the game works. No matter this one is far more fitting.

I was relying on grenade boy to be in position to draw the enemies attention before I engaged, his getting himself killed for no reason kinda doomed my entire plan. ))

((If everyone is done discussing plans...))

The crewman from before enters the room.

"We're here. There aren't any guards in the docks, nor in the receiving room. Remember, you were never on this ship." He leads the Sellswords to the deck and sends you off the ship.

Shipworkers are unloading crates onto the docks, pretending you don't exist. There are three large doors at the west wall at the height of ramps. The room itself is filled with crates and boxes, heavy machinery looms in the shadows. Odd that they have no guards in this room. Perhaps security is lax for some reason?

I get myself entered into a fight preferably against one of the weaker fighters, check the stats for the person I'm against and the betting odds on my fight.

You throw your lot into the ring, and after a few fights you are selected to go next. These are free brawls, so there're only minor bets being placed, 20c at most. Maybe if you win enough, you can enter in the tourney.

Your opponent looks decently strong, a return fighter to the ring. He smiles at you, revealing his missing teeth. His look says 'this is going to be easy'. He pounds his fist into his palm, readying for the fight.

"Try not to kill each other, else we'll throw your bodies to the rats. Fight!" the man who constitutes as a ref yells.

Head for the doors, but keep a look out for anything odd.

Lokk-Agar looks around, familiarising himself with the environment.

"Hmm, something's not right here.  Let's keep an eye out while we're on the move for anything suspicious."

Follow Scapheap, but be ready with my weapons just in case.

((Are we inside the facility already? It doesn't seem quite clear to me.))

"Well, yeah, something might be up, I think."

Hang back a bit as the others go ahead. Keep a close eye on surroundings.

(( Have I seen this guy fight before? If so has he taken any injuries or hard shots to a body part? Is he left or right handed? What kind of fighting style does he use? ))

Place a 20c bet on myself to win.
Also place a 20c bet on myself to win by knock out.

(( Thats ok right? 2 different bets? Well anyway, onto the fighting. ))

Place myself on his weak side, ( If he's left handed it's his right side and so on. ) throw a couple of weak punches at his chest so he thinks I'm weak and that he doesn't need to defend himself then put a double fist into his gut with all my strength, if it winds and doubles him over then put my knee into his face to put him on the ground, if he's still conscious then keep pounding his head with fists and elbow till he's not anymore.

"Hmm, something's not right here.  Let's keep an eye out while we're on the move for anything suspicious."

Follow Scapheap, but be ready with my weapons just in case.
Action: Follow along, being as quiet as I can

You head to the doors, keeping your eyes peeled as you walk. You don't notice anything odd. Just wooden and metal crates stacked on shelves. When you get to the ramps, you notice a garage door at the north wall, behind a few crates. Moving up the ramp, you look through the window in the middle door to find a single hallway leading to a large room. You can't quite see what's in the room from this angle. There are no guards you can see. The other two doors lead to hallways, one turning left and the other right.

((Are we inside the facility already? It doesn't seem quite clear to me.))

"Well, yeah, something might be up, I think."

Hang back a bit as the others go ahead. Keep a close eye on surroundings.

((You are in the loading dock that is in the facility. The ship entered the building and docked within.))

Look for computer terminal in the loading area

You look around for a computer terminal. The crates and shelves divide up the loading area, so finding one isn't so easy. Soon enough, though, you come upon a wall terminal next to the garage door in the north wall. It displays the Jection Pharm logo.

(( Have I seen this guy fight before? If so has he taken any injuries or hard shots to a body part? Is he left or right handed? What kind of fighting style does he use? ))

He is a fighter you haven't seen today, but it's obvious he's been in the pits before. He appears uninjured, and you're no sure if he's left or right handed.

Right now there's no one man taking bets, it's just personal wagers. So you find a stranger to bet with. It isn't hard to find someone who thinks you will lose. You find another man to bet with for a second wager. He agrees and you enter the ring...

You begin the fight by feigning weakness, tossing a few punches his way. He laughs at you and goes all out, swinging wildly but clumsily. You easily dodge his flurry. [CRIT] You stun him with a couple strong punches to the gut and when he doubles over, you give him a knee to the face. With a defining crack, his nose beaks and he flies backwards, unconscious. The crowd is stunned for a moment before giving out cheers. At least, the people who bet on you cheer.

You return to the edge of the pit and collect your winnings of 40c. A man approaches you, smiling.

"You made quick work of Harold. Impressive, even if he's just a rat. You planning on entering the tourney tomorrow, at the Cistern?"

"Hm. Which floor are we on, guys? Does anybody know?"

Look around for any sign of which floor this might be.
