Reload and order them to stay still, slice open the gut of the downed bodyguard on my way to them then use pieces ripped from clothing to bind the 3 targets, send a message to the kid asking him for transport back to base for me +3 and search the 2 guards taking weapons, money and anything else useful.

You kill the downed body guard and bind your prisoners. You find two 9mm pistols, some ammo, 57 credits between two credsticks, and a comm link on the bodies. When you call one of the Kid's secretaries, she informs you that you cannot be brought to his headquarters, but instead offers to send you to one of the Kid's warehouses at the port.

((We'll say your diskmate already has that capability, in PDA form.))

Agree to the warehouse and ask if he has anybody who's skilled at getting people to give information and has no morals, if yes then have him sent to brutally maim and torture politely question them for information on the targets movements, such as when he leaves the building other then for work, search the kids and woman for money and a phone, see if the targets number is on said phone.

(( How much are the 9mm and ammo worth?
I have a plan, btw if I do kill him does this mean I get the entire bounty for myself? ))

"We have ways of getting people to talk. But such boons aren't available to a recruit. Maybe after a few missions we'll let you play with the toys. You're van is on the way." The kids have nothing of value, but the woman has a comm link and 40c. The comm link has many contacts, including Bombur. You appraise the gun and ammo to be worth about 100c total, in the state they're in.

The van comes about a half hour later. A masked man waves you in, and you are driven to the docks.

Warehouse 37 waits for you outside the van. The driver unlocks the side door and throws you the key. "Bring it back to one of Kid's men when you're through. I was never here." He leaves quickly, leaving you and your prisoners.

Inside the warehouse huge crates are stacked in great columns, but there is plenty of space to work.

((If you manage to kill him, you get the entire bounty, yes.))

Outstanding

Purchase zip ties (1 dozen), 200c Omnipick, Tranq gun ((is it a pistol or rifle? I'm buying it either way, but would prefer a pistol)) and light chest armor if it can be worth under "normal" clothing without being very noticeable. Work with eft.exe ((this is the easy-to-use but not as powerful, right?)) until mission time

You buy your items, including a tranq pistol, and wait for the mission.

((SeeThrough is the easy-to-use one. Did you mean that one?))

You find the program is easy to pick up and use. You spend a few hours learning its intricacies...

MISSION START

The five of you are called to action. You meet under mask of night and board a small vessel at the port. Wordlessly, the driver takes you out to the bay, where you meet up with a much larger cargo ship. Some hushed words are exchanged, and you five are soon aboard, waiting in the cargo hold. One of the workers tells you to keep quiet and stay in this part of the ship until he returns.

Perhaps it was time to strategize and plan...

Put sword to child's wrist then order the woman to tell me everything she knows. If she doesn't then cut off his hand and keep severing limbs until she does.

"Well people, first things first we should make sure our comm-links and trackers are working fine.  Wouldn't do for us to lose one another on a mission, now would it?"

"And what's more, we should tell each other about what we've got for ourselves. I've got an ounce of this magical doomsday explosive that's apparently perfectly adequate to level a house if properly placed. I've also got a modified arc welder that shoots lightning and a flamethrower in a can, plus a power drill. What've you guys got? Something useful, maybe? I know, I know, sounds crazy, but I'm just askin', you know. So how about a round of show and tell, eh?"

Flit's eyes flicked around.

Like most of her avian kind, she had a minor degree of claustrophobia. It put her nerves on edge, but she didn't show it. There were worse things to be nervous about.

"I've got my handy shotgun, wrist mounted incinerator, medical kit and medispec scanner. I do tend to travel light..." She said, showing them in turn.

Her shotgun was fairly compact, a sleek black metal finish-it had a eight shot rotary drum attached to the bottom. It could probably deal an impressive amount of death with little intricacy involved. Likewise, her incinerator was barely noticeable at all, a small sprayer device set in her left wrist, with hoses and wires leading to an armored left shoulderpad. Her medkit was on her hip in a reinforced satchel, and her scanners occupied her right wrist.

She tapped them now, aiming at each of her teammates in turn. A scanning laser briefly illuminates each person.

"...looks I got all of you. As long as you stay within a few miles of my position, I'll have your vitals on my person at any time. Nothing specific, but I can at least tell if you're about to die. I can mend just about anything, or keep you on your feet until you keel, but I'd like you all to spare me any triage decisions. Try not to get shot too bad.

I suppose it's obvious, but if I go down no one is getting any help. So expect me to handle my own wounds, before your own. And, I might need cover or help if it's worth it to save someone. In fact, I'm about the only person in this team you absolutely have to learn to work with. Assuming you want to survive...

Also, I tend to ask this before I join a new group. Your preference of death. Morbid, yes? Much more morbid for me.

Just tell me, in the event I can't save you, and you can't be moved...if you'd prefer me to end your life. I have a painless injection that will put you in a coma-you won't wake up. I can also use a shock to the heart, a bullet, or a knife-or just let you do it yourself, assuming you can. Naturally, you can opt out, and you can hope the other side is in a truly forgiving mood. We're under no order of secrecy here, so I suppose if you get captured, it's nothing off of our paychecks.

I'll leave this decision up to you all."

"Uh, yeah, I'll take my chances with the other side every time. Won't tell 'em shit, of course, but at least it's better than friggin' suicide. I mean, what the fuck, honestly. I don't do that bushido shit and whatnot."

Turgidly-Ululate clears his throat.

"Anyway, why don't we... uh... scope out the place? From outside, you know."

"Your choice. I've no promises to make, but that my way will be much faster than theirs."
