Basically, it's supposed to be a sort of mage who basically delves into various ruins and other places to discover magic.

Er.. So what kinds of magic does he use? Weapons?

As for what kind, mostly damage spells. And for weapons it's likely just a small knife or a staff.

I still don't get what a searcher is supposed to be. "He's a mage with spells that do damage and he looks for ancient spells"? That's not even a thing. You're literally just a regular mage who also happens to look for old stuff.

Maybe you exclusively use ancient magic? But if that were to be the case you or I would have to figure out what the heck "ancient magic" is. You gotta figure out just what the hell you are.

You're too busy! mastahcheese's (I always spell it write. see what I did there?) idea makes super a lot of sense so I grant the responsibility to scapheap! In the event that he fails as well or he doesn't feel like it the responsibility will fall to GWG anyways.
