After their quick rest everyone feels refreshed.

Alex finds the last bits of Kyle's mass and finishes the pile he made. Kyle ripples before reforming into his original shape. He feels a bit dizzy from the sudden change, but the sensation quickly passes.
That was fun. He comments, running his hands over his features and counting his limbs to make sure everything is in it's proper place.
Alex inspects the local flora. It's all foreign, though vaguely familiar. The differences are usually subtle, but some are quite staggering. The trees are only a bit taller and thinner here than the ones at home, but some of them are quite squat, and grow unusual blossoms. Long, yellow flowers with four massive petals. They hang down by long stems, reaching almost clear down to the ground. Between these barrel-like trees are long thin ones with white bark with dark brown rings near the roots. There aren't any branches and the only leaves are perched high on top. You think you can see some fruit hidden between them but you can't be sure.
Beth prepares to fly and starts flapping, then stops. She rubs the base of her wings where they join to her back between her shoulder blades. Her new muscles, though powerful, are young, and presently tender from overuse. She decides it might be best to take a break from flying for now, lest she damn herself and her companions should there be an emergency. She climbs one of the tall trees that Alex is inspecting instead. About halfway up it bows and dumps her onto the dirt. She stands and dusts herself off. Strange.. The trees seem rather solid. They don't look like they should bend like that, and when she tries pulling on it the thing remains rigid.
Derry searches for tracks. The ground is soft, damp and granular (sandy) with no grass or underbrush and the impressions are lasting and easy to find. He finds some small three-toed tracks heading off in one direction. They seem fresh, and judging by the imprint the four-legged creature is heavy, though the size of the paw suggests a small stature regardless. There are drag marks suggesting a small tail or a low belly. You don't see any low leaves and you've already noted the absence of undergrowth, thus you can only assume that it's some kind of predator.
Jackson stays near the lake with Kyle and scans the horizon beyond the sea of thin trees ringing the lake. He can see some kind of structure far in the distance. All you can tell from here is that it's lopsided and really, really far away. It probably wouldn't do to try for it without a bit of preparation in advance. Otherwise he doesn't note any other signs of civilisation.

The way in which they are "like" can be vague, but the more clear the connection, the more powerful the golem is. Strength of the golem varies. The material which the golem is made of influences strength, abilities and personality. Golems are sentient, and 100% loyal to you.

Hooded Robes - Rough blue robes you found in an old chest while exploring the Oddway one night. They're a little big on you, and you wear three large leather belts (also too big) around your midsection to keep them from trailing. You've taken to hanging pouches and gourds from them to keep your remedies safe, as well as hold the many trinkets and oddities you find [+7 Inventory]. There's a hood, and you like to keep it bunched up around your neck to keep you warm.

Friend of the Earth - Knows a lot about the physical attributes and habits of animals and plant life, especially that which resides in the forest, though he's never been in one. Wild creatures tend to take a liking to him due to his scent, a combination of rich earth and sunlight, gained from whiling away so many hours dozing amongst the warm grass on the Hill.
Athlete - You can run faster and longer than most of the other kids. And you should after kicking everyone's arses at footraces for so long! [5% chance to attack the same target again]
