Beth has been sitting away from the others ever since you first awoke, and emerged to find yourselves on this island. She hangs her legs off of the edge, as she has done before on hundreds of separate occasions, despite the warnings from her parents and the other elders that if she fell, she'd disappear forever. The others mostly don't notice her as they walk to and fro, searching for an escape. Derry approaches, and Beth looks up as he sits down at her side. She looks at him for a moment before turning her attention back to the empty air below.
Beth, are you sure you're all right?She grasps his hand and squeezes it tightly. Derry goes red instantly, a shock rocketing up his spine. He's surprised when she takes it and places it on her upper back however, her eyes still averted. He can feel something stirring beneath her shirt.
Your wings..? She looks him in the eyes. Her gaze is unwavering. The realisation hits him like a bucket of cold water.
No.. It can't be!

Wild creatures tend to take a liking to him due to his scent, a combination of rich earth and sunlight, gained from whiling away so many hours dozing amongst the warm grass on the Hill.
Athlete - You can run faster and longer than most of the other kids. And you should after kicking everyone's arses at footraces for so long! [5% chance to attack the same target again]
