"Does this look like aelo to you, Jack? It's either that or roak, I'm not sure."
"it's pronounced Aloe, and you're the one who studied it, remember? Do you have any more Gosa? I've got a headache from all the wind force I was bringing up, I've never put that much effort into it before."

Try to rest head and clear mind.

((Not aloe, a fictional plant.))

"Um...I've got some tea. How bad's the headache?"

Estimate how much MP the tea will heal.

Bethany sat by the river, brushing goo out of her hair, and her wings. It didn't seem to have damaged anything...though she felt some pringles that were probably going to turn into nasty boils sooner or later...

Her eyes flicked up to Derry, meeting his pale and hard blue eyes with her own soft, forest green gaze.

"...Thanks for saving me Derry, when I couldn't breath. I don't know what would have happened..."

Kyle alternates in between playing with his new pet and searching for sticks.

GreatWyrmGold
You collect some oil from a Hargus tree. Not as good as Aelo, but it doesn't require any preparation, which is exactly what you need right now. You were lucky to find this, as the oil loses its properties as the tree ages, and Hargus saplings are extremely rare.

You're not really sure if he'll get all the benefit that he needs after drinking this, but he'll still feel much better than before. You frown as you look for the right gourd. This'd be a lot easier if you had maester Oppa here to ask. You shrug mentally. He'd probably just slap you on the back of the head and tell you to figure it out on your own. The maester is cruel when it comes to your lessons. You can see the wisdom in his ways when he wishes you to learn for yourself how best to grind roots, and which powders will explode and which will fizzle when you strike them with a flint, but when you remember all the times you've sickened, burnt and poisoned yourself, you start to wonder if perhaps Oppa isn't a bit lazy.

You hand Jack the gourd and tell him to drink all the contents. He unstoppers it and tilts it back, draining the entire thing in a few seconds. He hands it back to you, a sour look on his face. Yeah, don't throw up. It doesn't work if you throw up.

Bethany suddenly remembered something.

Beth, you win, check the ground where your enemies fell. Nothing should go to waste...

She knew that slimes sometimes absorbed pieces of what they ate into their bodies, stuff they couldn't digest. Usually there was just bones, but...

Action: Check the slime remnants for anything left of them. LOOT

Bethany
Derry doesn't respond, he's too absorbed in cleaning his gloves. You huff once, then stomp off across the grove to where the fight happened. You grab a nearby twig and sit down on the grass, poking at one of the puddles of slime while you mope about Derry's ignorant insensitivity. You feel something solid amidst the goo, and you perk up a bit to see what it is. Probably just a rock. You say to yourself.

You lean over and grab the small, hard thing and pull it free of the muck. Its a rectangular, brown case thats quite thing, and more than two feet long. The parts of it you can see have a dull, polished sheen to them. You wonder how you could have missed it earlier while you walk back over to the stream. The slimes aren't exactly opaque, and you should've been able to see this thing clear as the clouds below. You wash it off carefully, wetting one sleeve and rubbing off the goo while you cradle it under your other arm. You finish getting the stuff off and dry it with your shirt, then set it down in the grass and look at it more closely.

The top of the case has a beautiful engraving set into it, a swirling pattern that sweeps across almost the entire surface of the case, and filled with speckled copper. You finger the lock, which is also layered in the decorative copper, but is more likely made of iron or steel. The hinges are reinforced, and the ouk wood that was used for the box itself seems quite sturdy. You don't think you could break into it even if you dropped a building on it. You lift the case again and set it down. Its fairly heavy as well. The contents don't feel loose, and the whole thing seems rather masculine to you, so you don't think there's jewels or treasure inside.

You go back and poke through the slimes again to see if there's anything else you missed, but you can't find anything. You sit back down next to the strange box and stare at it, running your hand over its rough surface.

She thought a moment, marveling at the craftsmanship and wondering what could be inside-and how it was all hers and no one elses. Yet, that tinny (and very cold) voice deep in Beths head that told her to hide the chest away, and keep it to herself was...presently, ignored.

Instead she responded with her usual youthful enthusiasm, all but hopping up and down.

"Look here guys, it's a real life treasure chest. I'm...we're real adventurers now!

Praise the sky!"

"Oh, nope! It's locked, and it's hard as Hell hailstones to get open!"
