Control wind, focus on flinging slimes into trees! Except Kyle's.
I'm going to get upset if someone doesn't give me a target, one more time. But you've given me a neat idea. Command Sky can now attack multiple targets in one turn, costing one MP per target attacked. How's that sound? As right now, you're pretty weak compared to some of the others, especially for being a mage.
That sounds awesome!

Beth took a big gasp of non-slimy air, looking over at Derry with gratitude and a hint of something deeper. She probably would have said something else, but there were plenty of slimes to squash still!

Action: Sling Slime 1! Or 2 if it's already dead!

Kyle scoops up T. Slime 1 and asks him if he wants to be friends! Bloop Blop! (Sure! But only if I get to hang out with that fella you call Derry once in a while! He sure smells great!) Kyle isn't really sure what the little guy said, but he seems content enough when he slips him into his pocket. Kyle made a friend! What should you name him?
Debris flies everywhere as a powerful gust whirls around Jack [-4 MP]! S. Slimes 1, 2, 3 and 5 are rocked back as they're buffeted by a fierce gale! S. Slime 1 quivers violently before exploding in a shower of goo!
Bethany draws her slingshot back! [5] The pebble goes in one side of S. Slime 2 and pops out the other for 3 DMG!
Wells tries to hug Kyle's new friend! [3] Kyle ducks past your flailing arms! C'mon! Just let me hold him for a sec!
Derry's sling whooshes as he twirls it steadily, waiting for the right moment to strike! [9] He sees his opening, and WHAM! S. Slime 2 takes 2 DMG from the blow! It was too much for him to take, and he shivers once before his body loses all of its viscosity and he dribbles into a tiny green puddle of goop.

S. Slime 3 wants Wells to go away! [8] He nudges him hard for 1 DMG!
S. Slime 5 is bored! He edges towards the bushes in an attempt to retreat!

Thin Stick Wizard Staff! - A thin stick wizard staff that you picked up off the ground carved yourself, using white ebony obtained from the Log of Donheim, taken from the clutches of the Archdemon Thoth himself! [still 2 DMG]

Athlete - You can run faster and longer than most of the other kids. And you should after kicking everyone's arses at footraces for so long! [5% chance to attack the same target again]

Climbing Gloves - Hard, leather, fingerless gloves with pads on the knuckles and the palms, great for scaling trees and hitting stuff without bruising your knuckles [climb things; 1 DMG].

Cloudy Day - You love the rain, and you always go outside to let the drops run down your face whenever the sky grows dark. [+2 max HP during inclement weather]

Mantle - A short coat made of soft, dark brown leather. You always wear it whenever you go romping, to keep the dirt off your clothes.

Beth takes a shot at S. Slime 3! [5] He takes the hit for 2 DMG!
Derry goes to stomp S. Slime 3! [5] His boot goes right through him for 1 DMG, trapping his leg at the same time! Derry can't move!
Alex prepares to finish off S. Slime 3! [12] He explodes fantastically and Alex pumps his arm in satisfaction!
Wells tries to convince S. Slime 5 to stay! S. Slime 5 ignores him!

S. Slime 5 escapes!

Everyone catches their breath after the brawl. Alex, Kyle and Jack are fine but the others are heavily bruised and their hands and arms itch, and Wells' right hand is red after being directly exposed to the slime's acidic secretions. Everyone washes the goo from their clothes and skin, and then Alex and Jack head off to go looking for something to put on the burns. Kyle and Wells go kicking through the brush to look for some better sticks after realising that there might be more fighting ahead than originally expected, and Derry washes his gloves in the river while Beth tries to get dry pieces of muck out of her hair.
