Dran is incredisad.
So how'd you get down, then?
Did you have families or anything or was it just you up there?

"Yes, it better well scudding well still be in the sky! My home is up there, my dad, my whole City, all my other friends...like I said, I don't even know where *this* is!" She says angrily, motioning to the land around her. She punches Dran in the shoulder. Hard. He's very pummel-able.

"And, I carried everyone down on my wings, Drip. A little island crashed down into the lake...not the big island, I mean..."

[Xantalos]

Did it have anything on it?
Dran's eyes gleam slightly. Though he couldn't open trade relations with an entire city - and get a hefty finder's fee - he would at least be able to salvage the small one.

[Dwarmin]

"What do you mean 'anything'? It had everything we needed. We had...er, have mines, and farms, and windmills, and cities-plural-and towers and castles and roads and everything. It was 'the world', Drip. We even had a King, but that's more of a what-do-you call it, ceremonial title."

[Xantalos]

Are you talking about the small or big one? Did the little one that crashed into a lake have anything on it?

[Dwarmin]

She shook her head

"The small one just had some strange building on it. We woke up inside of it. There wasn't much there, but we were crashing into the ground, so we didn't have much time to look around."

[Xantalos]

Well then.
Dran rubs his hands together.
Why don't you kids rest up, patch up that wounded one, then you can lead me to that building? I'd like to take a look inside.

[Dwarmin]

Bethany rolls her eyes and points to the lake. Though the surface is unmarred-now calm as the breeze which ripples around across it's surface-one can see a good deal of dirt and shrubby debris still floating on top.

"It sank into the lake when it came down. It's underwater, Scudbrain, and probably smashed to rubble."

[Xantalos]

Dran's eye twitches.
Do you have anything I could pummel?

[Dwarmin]

"Derry likes to fight, but I don't suppose you'd enjoy the counter-pummeling he'd give you.

There's lots of trees around here, though, pummel those...

Anyway, time to answer some of my questions, buddy. Where is here? What is this land? Why were you here to find us?" She asked, accentuating with chest pokes.

((Also, what's you new guys physical appearances? How old are you? I can't find your sheets anywhere...until otherwise, I'll assume your goofy looking teenagers.))

((We be adults. I didn't really put a description for Dran, so just think of him as a 25 year-old Indiana Jones.))

Dran stomps over to one of the trees.
Wait, I shouldn't swear. These are kids.
That condition resolved, he begins to whale on the unfortunate tree. DAMMITFUBTICKSHINCRADGGGGRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH
He kept at it for a good long while.
He'd really wanted to search that island. Very much. But nothing could be done for now, so he walked back over to Bethany.
Here, kid, is the desert by Great Oasis. It's where Jerik and I live. And two, I wasn't here to find you, I was here to search a crashed island, which I was hoping was here, or that at least you could get me up there...
But nothing of the sort.

[Dwarmin]

"Well, we want to find a way back obviously, and you want to find someplace new, I'm guessing. I suppose we could work together, unless you want to throw me in an orphanage or something..." She commented drolly.

[Xantalos]

I got no reason to.

"Who are these people and why were they trying to interrupt my translating?"

((@Gwg: Well, for a specific reason, he was recently banned from the forums for raging, and judging by his recent post history he's been going through a tough time in his IRL. No excuse for what he was doing, but I dont feel good taking too much advantage of the fact he's not here because of it, even for jokes. Not really complicated.))

Bethany shrugs to Alex.

"They say their treasure hunters, which I guess means they're robbers."
