Beth wakes up quickly, looking over at Derry, then Dran-she's very quiet and somewhat pale.

After a moment, she nods and carefully extracts herself, nodding to Dran and moving with him.

Dran internally steeples his fingers and grins.

Beth waits till they are out of earshot of Derry to speak. Her wings flutter quickly once, shaking the dust from her short sleep-an action she is not consciously aware of.

"So, what's all this about? And, why are we being sneaky?"

Well, we're going to steal a map of crashed islands from Lore to see if we can get you home faster. The codger won't give them, so we gotta take them.

((I can't vouch for any other, but I can personally say that I spent close to 10 years of my life training with weapons in the case my dad decided to kill me, so no, this is not an unrealistic assumption that GL is making at all.
But I do know of other people who went through similar stuff and ended up as very nice, well mannered people, my own wife, for instance.
And don't we have an OOC thread for this stuff?))
