Hey guys,

Been thinking of you guys here at Bay12 games & how you helped 3089 during the KickStarter and beyond. The game has been improving & it is now on sale! If any of you guys want to check it out, now is a good time to get the full version at the lowest price it will ever be at.

Thanks again for your support!

3089 improves upon 3079 in every way. Some of the improvements are slight but overall the impact is huge. I strongly recommend throwing your pocket change(or more) at this if you don't already own it.
It works great on my laptop and I have spent countless hours playing while traveling.

I vote next phr00t game to be Gentrieve 3! :P

Is it less linear than 3079? Like, in 3079, you defeated demons with demon killing weapons and then you won. There wasn't much of a point to the game beyond that, and I got tired of the sandbox fetch quests quite quickly.

A Desura key though? I would do this in a second if it was a steam key or just a standalone download. But a Desura key?? I'll pass on needing another steam/orgin thingy.

There is a direct download from IndieGameStand's site; you don't need to register or use Desura.

Ha, not sure what my next game will be, but I'm always throwing around ideas & I'm glad you want to see more of the Gentrieve series :)

There was quite a bit to do in 3079. However, if you just focused on killing demons to speed through the story, it would go by pretty quick. 3089 is quite different. You'll have to defeat bosses that get stronger & farther away, requiring you to venture out into harder areas. Quests are much more unique, because they are generated with a random set of tasks, instead of one quest type. Finally, depending on your actions in the game, you can unlock multiple endings, where 3079 only had one ending. More information can be found here:

That answers my question perfectly. Thank you.

Minecraft UI is very simple. There's only so many ways you can implement "simple" without copying something. We also gonna complain that it uses WASD?

3059 was the first one I made back in college. 3069 started as a 2D sprite-based game, but then I (very poorly) converted it to a 3D game. :P I got my act together for 3079 & now I've learned a bunch of new tricks for 3089! I hope you can get in on this deal, and at the very least, I'm glad you've been a fan for this long! :)
