"I'm here. Right next to you." To emphasize this, Kreiawel smacks Kaianee with a facial tentacle.
"As to the question...the possibilities brought up are mining and scavenging, both of which require some kind of specialized equipment as well as a good-sized cargo hold if we want to do much. They also both tend to take us into the outer regions of space, requiring long cryo trips and preventing us from getting help if needed. If you ask me, becoming couriers or somesuch would be a safer alternative until we can afford a better ship and some helpers."

The large Enan woman behind the counter is woken up by Asgarus.
"Hurk! *splutter* What?!

The electronic menu on the wall behind the barkeep is huge so you just read the 'popular' section.

The Barkeep pulls a can the size of your(Asgarus') hand out from under the counter and cuts the top section off with a bolt cutter like implement. She puts the can onto your table. You see that the liquid is clear with an orange tint and has a strange blob with furry legs floating in it.

"5 Credits please. Don't drink it to fast or it might kill you."

*slightly vexated by Kreiawin apparent invisibility* "Mmm... Couriers seems nice enough. With a slow and not-so-safe ship we're not going to earn a lot of money, but eventually we can make it." *cross fingers and appear to think intensely*

"It's better than having a slow, unsafe, small, underequipped ship trying to mine. Miners usually don't make a lot of money unless they can find the best M-group asteroids either. Historically, miners have made other people rich more consistently than themselves."

"Right. So the plan is get the best ship we can with our coin, do transport work with it, then get a better one and go mining or something somewhere? If we manage to get a ship with a decent cargo hold we can scavenge while we are futzing around. Anyone here with some EVA experience?" (to bartender) "Hey, can I get a shot and some water?"
