And one dead goblin too, right?  The one that got nommed by goblin zombies off screen, that was dead when we first entered this troll area?

Doh!  I understand now.  The dead gobbie is the dead zombie gobby.  Silly me.

(( Ahh well then when he goes down I still have 3 minions, plus a troll. I'm counting that as a win. ))

((I was typing the turn up when you posted that.))
Kyle 19, Ismiral 17, Poor Defenseless Goblin Getting Mobbed 7
Kyle tries to finish off the dying goblin that's slowly bleeding out [17+2] [5] and manages to kill him! Ismiral spends a little while brutalizing the corpse a bit more.
[11+3] Alexis begins trapping the soul of the troll, but doesn't manage to hold on to the souls of both groups! You'll have to choose between the two goblins and one goblin boss or the one goblin and a troll.
Aunica begins climbing up to the  alcove, and looks through to find a small altar to an unknown god. Judging from the imagery, it's not exactly one of life.

Any telepaths around might note Aunica's thoughts about the altar, "Nothing I want anything to do with."

Back down Aunica clambers.  She keeps watching the entrances/exits, keeps her distance from the various dead and undead icks around, and tells the group about what she saw and offers a recommendation that it be left strictly alone.  Her tone suggests she doesn't believe the group will follow her advice.

Ismiral proceeds to disregard Aunica and procedes to climb up and look around the alter for gear a priest might find useful.

You can attempt to selectively drop the souls, at the cost of having a chance of dropping all affected souls.

How big a chance? I mean dropping 4 normal goblins should be enough to allow me 1 bigger goblin.

You'd need a 5+, so with your wisdom bonus, 1/10 chance.

Keep the boss and the troll, the rest can go back to rotting.

Aunica returns to the pen room, and tells the party of what's above, advising against going up there, though suspecting they won't listen.
Ismiral agrees that she probably won't listen, and commences not listening. She climbs up, begins searching, and finds [5] precisely nothing of use.
Kyle begins rooting for loot [5] and once more find precisely nothing of use, in the exact same manner.
Alexis [14+2] manages to drop some of the souls without losing them all, and gets the troll and boss to follow her.
The friendly goblin begins signing that the altar Aunica described belongs to one of the Warrior Gods, Manika. She's one of pain, blood, and war, and is worshiped pretty much only by the military caste, which had recently declared martial law.

Kyle sees if there is anything that he can take as a back up weapon and follows the party.

Any telepaths might notice Aunica weighing the merits of 'gently' reminding that goblin that things like martial law are details that should have been provided earlier, especially after her second interrogation; versus a growing certainty that goblins really are too stupid to understand any lessons that they could survive.  She decides not to bother and shifts her attention back to observation.

Stay with the party, near the back and as far from the undead, dead, Kyle, and the 'friendly goblin' as she can get without leaving the back of the party.  Watch the area, her companions, and the avenues of approach and departure for anything unusual or problematic.
