So, I'm working on getting the characters' equipment and ability lists and stuff ready for battle. Boy, is there a lot of it to go through.
Everyone can wear clothes (i.e. light armors) and hats (distinct from helmets), and equip daggers, rods, or staves. This applies at all times; if you want to switch to Knight and bonk people with a magic stick, you go right ahead.
Everyone starts wearing a leather hat and clothes (both of which contribute a little bit to your HP; gear doesn't contribute to "Defense", really, just HP) and an appropriate weapon. You'll all have some sort of specific gear; everyone either gets a better-than-average weapon, a better-than-average armor, or a minor accessory.
Heath can use swords, greatswords, katanas, and axes. He starts with a battle axe.
Alexia can use swords, ninjato, and greatswords. She starts with a Longsword. (and also a broadsword that she does not have equipped)
Grace can use books and music instruments, and wear robes. She starts with a rod, hempen robes, and a Plant Bracelet (75% resistance to poison and blindness).
Kyle can use swords,
greatswords, ninjato, crossbows, and guns.
and wear heavy armor. He starts with a broadsword and leather clothes.
Elizalotte can use swords, ninjato, crossbows, and guns. She starts with
a broadsword and a bowgun a Longsword.
(the broadsword is equipped, but obviously you can switch before battle)Gregory can use swords, axes, flails, and shields, and can wear helmets (think hard hat
). He starts with a broadsword and an escutcheon.
Tell me if I've done something terribly wrong with your equipment availability.
Olan will be providing you some equipment too; there will be 2 leather armor, 2 leather helmets, 2 broadswords, 2 daggers, 2 escutcheons, and a bowgun provided to you in case anyone wants to switch to the generic classes to start with. Note that leather armor counts as "heavy armor" and leather helmets are "helmets", not "hats".
