Generally, the Hall of Legends hold tons of epic stories. Not sure if it is still updated for new ones, though.

Fine, say his name once, BUT DON'T SAY IT THREE TIMES.

There are three things I know about dwarves:
1. They've got beards. Even the women.
2. They're short. Especially the women.
3. They're Scottish.

Manipulating the raws so that cats catch on fire and blow into bits purely from their own bodyheat is something that will always stay with me.

Not sure if it still works like that in the current version, but you could probably get them to melt.

I don't think you can, or at least that's the impression google has given me. There are plenty of other amusing raw edits you can do though because temperature is hilarious; if you set something's boiling point to 0 they will sublimate into a freezing mist.

Dropped a dozen burning lignite bins into the ocean to see if I could dry it out.

I murdered a thriving fish population, a whale, several sharks and my FPS. I did get several mostly-dry areas of former ocean floor out of it...:P

My best is quite tame by comparison. I made gas chambers. Although the round-about way of heating the floor with magma so the liquid poison can boil was dwarfy enough. The fact that the gas turned anything into geysers of blood was neat though, although that wasn't really anything special. Although I was particularly proud of how any dwarf who walked into a pool of it in liquid form simply tracked it into the dining room, where their body heat caused it to boil creating a blood-geyser inducing cloud. That was fun.

Particularly I am a fan of using undeath as a means of boosting meat yields. And Sphalerite's farming sea-serpents was also awesome. And anybody's attempts at saving dwarven kind from the flood of children deserve mention as well. Or when anyone regularly drops cats into their dining room (from a great height) causing kitty-bits just to induce an emotional numbness in their population.
