Weapon of Oppurtunity Dwarf

One of my Axe dwarves just started organizing "Misc. Object Demonstration"

On closer inspection I notice he is a Comptetent Misc. Object User


obviously he must have learned how to bash goblin's faces in with stone mug's of dwarven ale!

I'm really tempted to try to make him a legendary Misc. Object user and watch him take out a small army of goblins armed only with a silk thong!

Shields seem to count towards that experience. So he much love shield bashing. A lot. Give him 2 shields and let him go to town.

According to the wiki, you can equip up to 3 shields on a dwarf at once.

There's no limit on how many shields you can wield on each arm.

In adventure mode, no. But fort mode dwarves don't (or can't) abuse backpacks to equip infinite gear.

I have equipped five feather wood shields at once on multiple dwarves... I Do think it appropriate that a dwarf can use more than one shield. I think the max should be three (One for each hand and one on the back... gotta' watch your back after all). But five?? that is kinda silly to me.

One on each arm, one in each hand, and one on your back.  You could get crazy and wear two on your back, one at the shoulders and one down at your waist.  I guess theoretically you could wear one on your head as well ...

Bucklers exist. Hell, they're even in game, though sadly there's currently no way to make them equippable to arms instead of to hands. But yeah, people totally wear arm-shields.

That would be an insane level of dwarven bling. They could retire from the military and run a dwarven boxing championship.

DF shields are impenetrable, however.
