It's good to try and coordinate our efforts.

I'll switch to Trade, why not.

BTW Meph, how did Pyro put an unskilled into his CC if Organization wasn't played?

The option is there to staff it before the game begins.

As I didn't have a chance to before the game began (just as I didn't have a chance to put in my first phase choice), and it didn't affect the first turn, I asked for it to be put in retroactively, and he allowed it.

Also, Meph, doesn't turn order shift by one? I thought I read that somewhere in the rules. Having it constant looks kinda unfairly beneficial to the first player.

First Player only changes when someone plays Organization, assuming that player isn't First Player anyway. That's the bonus of playing Organization, you get to be First Player. Unless more than one player plays the card, in which case the next player in line from the first player who played the Phase gets it, and the other player(s) instead choose another Phase played this turn and get that phase's play bonus instead.

For example, if Dariush and 10ebbor10 played Organization this round, Dariush would get First Player and 10ebbor10 would have to pick a different phase that was played to get the bonus from.

Well for the moment there is not much harm in cooperating with phase selection, so I am going to go with Production for round 2. (if that is alright)

Here's a question: Can players trade between themselves, at prices they set, in or out of a trade phase, or is trading with the trade fleets only?

Because if we can trade between ourselves, even if only in Trade phases, then I can offer you other players a deal or two, namely marked-down materials from my side, and possibly machines if I can get a production line rolling. How much it's marked-down and quantity rather depends on you guy's side of the equation.

While you are free to make any agreements regarding what phases you wish to play, you still have to PM me your choice for it to be official.

Players may trade between one another during the Trade phase. You may trade Wealth, Resources, and colonists as you wish.

Ok, all of the phase choices are in:

Player           Phase
GreatWyrmGold    Trade
10ebbor10          Organization
PyroDesu            Colonization
RulerOfNothing     Production
evilcherry           Organization
Dariush              Colonization

Phases this Round are Colonization, then Production, then Trade, then Organization.

Colonization and Trade will be done following the current Turn Order:
    RulerOfNothing
    evilcherry
    Dariush
    GreatWyrmGold
    10ebbor10
    PyroDesu

As usual, anything you can do that doesn't rely on other people (or can be done via preference order) you're free to post at one time to keep things going.

evilcherry will be the new First Player for round 3. 10ebbor10, please pick one of the other phases of this turn to gain the bonus from (Colonization, Production, or Trade)

I will take the Expert colonist if RulerOfNothing doesn't, the Skilled one if evilcherry doesn't, and an Unskilled one otherwise.

I'll tell you now, I need a skilled (not expert even, it has to be skilled) this round, or I'm going to quickly fail. My planning didn't include player positions in the queue never changing until Organization comes up. In return, again, discounted (in relation to the trade state) materials once I can get running.

So if someone is kind enough, take a Skilled, otherwise Unskilled. As Colonization special, reserve an Expert, or, if I do not get a Skilled in this one, a Skilled.

(flaming removed)

I'll take Skilled, Expert or Unskilled, in this order, plus Expert reserved from the last turn, and reserve an Expert. Then I'll buy one basic good. Then I'll staff my farm with unskilled an CC with either skilled or unskilled, in this order.

I'm not sure what is going on, but if there is a brewing kerfuffle in here, hopefully people will not be so abrasive with each other in the future.

Wow. I don't think I've had Toady come into one of my games, before. I think I missed whatever happened, but I'm sorry you had to step in, Toady.

Can we all please keep this civil? It's just a boardgame, after all, no reason to get upset about anything.
