Amare looks around for the computer panel, or something useful, and while reaching behind panel to see if that really was a pistol back there, gets her arm stuck in it. Meanwhile, Lexi searches around, checking the magazine in the assault rifle as she does so. Unfortunately, it's empty. On the bright side, she manages to turn up three pistols with ammo in them, though she can't find any weapons caches, and the ducts in the cryo-bay tend to be covered, three inches wide, and high up. As Horace approaches the turret, it swivels to track him, dual chain-guns spinning feverishly, the hum of the hammers failing to hit bullets grating on the ears. It would almost be cute, if you didn't know exactly what someone could look like after being hit by one. But what's startling, is that as he looks around it, the hum starts dying down, back into distinct clicks, and finally stops completely, as do the barrels. Then they start folding back in to the turret. The alarm lights on all the turrets shut off now, too...

// Happy fourth! Also, I managed to create a system that satisfies me with difficulty compared to skill level and attributes. Of note with skills in particular; you can almost always retry. You guys got some really bad rolls this turn. Rolled a 1 for the assault rifle magazine, a 1 for how many pistols you found, a critical failure for GWG...

Get self unstuck before anyone notices and continue searching. Get out of range of the turrets ASAP.

Kyle walks over to Amare.
"You know, most men would take advantage of the fact that you have limited movement right now."
Kyle then sets about trying to figure out how to get Amare's arm out.

Kyle smirks.
"What's the matter? I'm just saying you're very attractive and any man would probably love to be able to be in my position. Well, mostly happy."

"What's the matter is that you basically implied I should be glad you're not raping me."

"Just shut it you two, just get her unstuck quickly, the turrets are going down for some ammo. I'll try to stop them, but I suggest you hurry before it turns you both into mincemeat!"

Leopard goes to one of the retracting turrets, and attempts to stop it from retracting, by whatever means necessary. (Even if it means breaking it with brute force.)

Kyle stops what he's doing and smacks Amare.
"I don't care what you call me when I'm not around, hell I mostly don't care what you call me when I'm around, but you will never let me hear you call me sexist again."
Kyle resumes his previous attitude and continues working.

"Don't give me a reason to," Amare grumbled back as she tried to work her arm out.

She couldn't help but wonder: He complained more about being called sexist than a sadist? The obvious interpretation is that he is a sadist, but I don't think that's the case. At least, I hope it isn't. Probably some kind of issue with an obviously sexist authority figure that lead to issues. Maybe his father was sexist or something? And also beat Kyle or something?
Whatever it is, there's no way I'm going to be albe to ask him about it.
