Kyle doesn't find anything interesting sadly, and is headed for the door about the time Alexis shouts, at which point he starts sprinting like a madman. The scout is the only one to to come close to reaching it, and even he slams into the bulky doors a second after they finish closing. An alarm light goes off on one of the turrets, and then another, and you wait in horror for them to come up and start killing...but they don't. One rises though and you start to turn and run in the faint hope that you might survive...and then the loud sound of a repetitive clicking begins, speeds up, and turns into a high hum, as the chain-gun spins up. But no bullets fly through the air; no blossoming pain fills your chests. What?

// Safe to tell you now, I did do some rolling, but it was far away, so there was a decently high difficulty, and none of you made it. Only reason you noticed it when you did is because Alexis rolled a 20 on her search check last turn. I hope the flavor text is worth it, by the way. ^^

"Well shit." Horace stretches out his stubby limbs and approaches one of the blank shooting turrets.

"Anybody have the foggiest idea what in the blazes is going on here?"

As he waits for an answer, Horace gives the turret guns a good looking over to see if any insight can be gained from them.

"Alright...let's split up and look around the room. I'll look down this wall; Lexi, you look down the other; Boris, Kyle, you look in the middle; Horace, you...keep doing what you're doing."

Look down the wall opposite the cryoberths for anything informative or helpful. Specifically, the computer that should be somewhere around here...

Look around for air vents or any other way in/out that's big enough for a slim human to fit in ( A.K.A me. ) and any hidden weapon/armour lockers in soldiery places, check the magazine in the rifle.

Search any bodies in the room or still in pods, take anything useful as well as spare pistols and ammo.

"Well, something fucked-up with the munition supply for the autodefenses. Neither the main feed nor the backup feed is working, so we're pretty safe from them. 'Course, if we don't find any food or a way into the mess hall, I'd think we'd prefer the turrets to be loaded with ammo." Leopard said, scratching his head at the situation. The situation they had woken up in had indeed been a strange one.

Wait around for a bit, see if the others fnd anything or not.
