Suggestion? I feel like the writing rating could do with a slightly more expanded scale, so as to say "good but needs work" etc. instead of just approve/disapprove.

I figured the forums would be a place where people could critique articles. There's a board for events, the idea being that people who are interested in actively building the world can discuss them there. You're right, though; the yes-or-no system isn't very comprehensive. I don't know whether or not a five-point scale for ratings would be a good idea, though, since then we'd have the problem with some people rating an entry zero on all scales just because they don't like the idea of something.

Would it be an improvement to have a comment section? That shouldn't be too hard to put together.

Well, let's say you're going away from Earth on huge spaceship and suddenly shit goes wrong and you have Super Mutants. Social Experiments prepared them for this.

Seems an interesting enough of an idea. Not much of a writer myself but by the end of the month I should have enough time to offer some illustrations if you guys want. By then I think you should have plenty of stuff to illustrate so we could run a poll or something to pick stuff that I could do.

Oh yeah, I could help with that too if a way to upload pictures was added. I'm nowhere  near Jopax's level but I'm pretty good at sketching creatures.

Since I am nothing if not lazy resourceful, I been thinkin'. I added an optional field to all categories that allows a link to a forum thread about the article in question (as a way to allow easy discussions on the article in the place of a comment section). It feels kinda like cheating to me, but I figure that if it fulfills the purpose of a comment section in a method more robust than anything I could make in a reasonable time frame, we might as well make use of it.

On a similar note, I'm planning on having another link for images, this one to a folder in a Worldbuild Project DeviantArt group related to the article at hand. There would also be a space to put a featured image about the article, but this way people could also see all the other pictures of the article, offer comments, compliment the authors, etc. That'll be forthcoming soon.

Posting to contribute! Also, few questions. Is there magic or anything in the world? And is it high-fantasy or low-fantasy?

Huzzah! And magic: yes. Sort of. There're definitely supernatural things (spirits, at the very least), but we've yet to see any human-based magic. Personally, I'm going to try and steer it in the direction of ancient-magic-if-we-can-control-it-it's-really-rare-and-mysterious, but the whole point of the project is that everyone steers it towards what they want and we end up at a happy medium.

Yeah, a new site is under development as of today. The next version will be more robust and ascetically pleasing.

Hey guys! I've just posted an article on Rahjaks. I'm having a problem with the formatting though. The post won't show the paragraphs correctly; they only show up clustered together in one big paragraph, and I can't make things bold or larger.

To make paragraphs, add [ and ] before and after each paragraph. To make headings, add a ~ before and after the text you want to make larger.

It's kinda weird, but it's necessary to avoid having to make everyone use HTML.
