Oh geez, what was that?
Were you a tiger or a cat?
The little elf man has returned
claiming greatness he hasn't earned.
You're nowhere near that zone.
Nothing you do is on your own.
You collaborate with elves?
What could they do by themselves!?

Not to mention the lack of respect for ERB.
They're so good, they got Snoop Dog, see!
But knowing such things only tells me
that you're not competition, elfie!

If that's the best you got
then I gotta move to a better lot!

Tch, how demeaning
You rhyme without a meaning
What you call rhyme
We call a waste of time
The Elf's word is law
And he came, he saw
He conquered, he schooled
Just when you though you had him fooled

Hah, claiming greatness I haven't earnt
When none of you have ever learnt
That the Elf will fry
Those who try
To fool around
Pound em into the ground

Face facts, I'm the King
You bring
Nothing but mindless drivel
Trying to rap, "fo shizzle"
Bah! None of you realise
That you're all going to face your demise
At the hands of the mighty ElfCollaborator
The King, the Master, the Imperator
Make your wills
Do your drills

The Elf is coming
And you'd better be running

Impressive stuff, did you write all that yourself?
Or did you rely on the books on your shelf?
Still having a go, when you have no flow, thinking your some so and so, when your abilities are so low!
You are to me
like a droplet is to the sea.
You have no rights nor presence
in amongst my rapping essence
to even have a shot to resist
so save yourself the hassle and desist.

When will you learn that more is not better.
Keep that up, each time you rap, it'll be a letter.
I only need a couple of versus to whoop your ass
so get outta here, your no match against my kinda class!

So here we go once again!
Maxinum McDreich challenges the pen!
Have a go, give it a try!
You have a chance, oh wait, that's a lie.

I'll come with a response to that, but we need to do a cypher for Bay12.

Basically, someone starts a rap on a certain subject like this thread.
They then call someone else out, preferably someone active on the board, and people have to try and let them know about it.
When the target finds out, they have to respond with their own rap before calling out someone else.
The rap does not have to target the person who called them out.
Rinse, repeat.

Does that sound decent?

Then we vote on who wins?

I wish I could unwatch a thread because every time I look at this I can feel myself dying faster
Dying of laughter?
Dying of pure unbridled hatred, actually.

And we spam them with messages so they'll actually rap?

I'd say a voting system would be really fun for this kind of game.

Maybe we should have an average length of 16 bars per verse? You know, keep things professional.

Maxinum McDreich?
More like Maximum McFake!
Your raps have no meaning, they're see-through like Crystal Clear Lake!
And I do have a chance; a hundred percent!
I'd call you a sell-out, but looks like you're all spent.

The only lie here are the lies you tell yourself.
So you better check yo'self before you wreck yo'self.
You know what MC stands for? It means Mystical Cheesy.
Cuz' my raps will leave you feeling freaky-deaky!
So you better watch where you're steppin' against this MC.
Cuz' I'mma certified,
Qualified,
Street-borne homeboy G.

To those steppin' up, I'mma push you back down.
You ain't in yo street. Gedafuk out my town!
But now don't pout.
Cheesy's out.
And I'mma leave you with these verses I spout.

They call you GWG?
They call me the greatest MC!
(I wish I had done this one so I could make fun of Cheesecake's spelling abilities. ""Cheese" starts with C" rhymes with so much...Oh, look, he's back.)

Ah, the one who cannot spell his own name.
Why expect better and not just the same?
And yet, he must improve his rapping game
If he desires to not be seen as lame.
Yet, his performance here has been for shame.

Why bother? Why are you still rapping here?
Me and you aren't level, can't share a tier
Of skill. You're suited as a puppeteer
More than rapping. So open up your ear:
Enjambment, meter will others endear.

And now for the next fool to challenge me.
It is as hopeless as all you can see.
None have yet posted with rhymes such as these,
Nor structure nor meter clear as the seas.
And yet: Next challenger, come forward please!

I think it's pretty obvious at this point that GWG is using Jay-Z's steelo. :P

What is it?

Compare your later verses to Jay's, for example:

Intense vocabulary? Check.
Bragging based on intellect? Check.
Base Rhyme Scheme? Check.

The Worm's returned?
Oh snap, he thinks we're burned
His lyrics make me cringe
Makes me want to go on a drinking binge
I'll let him know
I'm striking a dreadful blow
I'm the Elf, the King
And the truth here I'll sing

I'm the cream of the crop, the best
I'll curbstomp all the rest
I'm the rapping Emperor
None of you are worthy of even being a senator
In my world order
You'd all just be pig fodder

Learn your place
And maybe I'll replace
Your terrible rhyme, worth a laugh
With a fitting epitaph
"Here lies the Worm, the Pretender
Suffered from a case of being too tender"
To withstand the force
And stand the course
Of the Elf King's mighty rap

The first couple are due to my intellect. The third is just my comprehension of rap. I seem to be doing more "aggressive poetry" than "rap," but that suits me well.

Oh dear, oh dear.
What do we have here?
These raps look familiar, I'm getting de ja vu!
Elfie, Elfie, is this really the best you can do?

Your rhymes are started to repeat,
that's not enough against the elite.
Go back to your forest, stay away from the street.
Save yourself the ignominy of not just getting beat,
but destroyed in a haze of thunder!
Brought on by a phase of blunder.

Look at me, I'm not even trying!
Anyone else want to be left crying?
My raps hit harder than the mighty Bane!
My tongue's quicker than even Caiaphas Cain!
So show your respect for this mighty Max!
Now let's see how this lot reacts!
