/Design and build high level manufacturing facilities
- assembly line production
- semi-autonomous AI
- ability to build in scalable sizes-big enough to produce missiles, or big enough to produce ships type of deal
- nuclear power generation

What else cores?

// Hiya! ended my lurk for this hehe... seemed interesting!:

/ Scan cargo bay content,
/ Scan for tectonic/ Volcanic activity,
/ Scan for planetary wind on all applicable bodies,
/ Begin construction of FUEL x2,
 - Deploy on Semicour 2,
 - Task FUEL stations with construction of a SMEAR fleet,
 - AUX Objective 1:
   - Bastardize a SMEAR robot, removing all mining capability, storage capability etc,
   - Replace the lost systems with battery storage, and a large solar flower,
   - Modify SMEAR programming to treat the new design as a recharging post.

- nuclear power generation

 - AUX Objective 2: Locate fissionable material on Semicour 1/2, and estimate quanitity.

// Greetings..
// As interesting as all of those may sound, you should probably settle on SOMEONE's ideas so we can get this game rolling again. We haven't done anything meaningful since entering this system.

// I'm going to hold off on voting until know how my designs hold up. Partially because I need to look at everyone's ideas, and partially because if it goes how I hope it does, I'll need to design some more support systems, such as an atmospheric-space transport, a high-speed transport, construction drones, etc.

+1 to everything!!!
All of the ideas presented so far will have to be done at one point, so do it.  Our CORE is smart enough to design all said objects while building, landing, etc.  To summarize, do it ALL!!!

I shall be eternally happy. I shall be able to construct elf hunting giant mecha. Which can pour magma.
Urist has been forced to use a friend as fertilizer lately.

// First of all I'd suggest you to land somewhere so that you can actually start building stuff. Doing it in space may not be exactly easy, despite us being a damn robot.

// Oh, I thought we had some sorta internal factory for some reason. Huh... We *can* pick the factories back up once we have finished making them, right? Wouldn't make much sense to have them drop capable otherwise...

/ Land on Semicour 1, so we reach consensus faster.

We didn't?

I still vote for TH 965-966 e-a.

// We do have an on-board factory, but it's a very small-scale one.
// Right now it's Semicour 1 versus Semicour 3 (or TH 965-66 e-a, if you will). Note that we can make remote or even AI-controlled bases as well.
