Second verse same as the first, put the buggers down with another burst
There are two kinds of bursts; narrow, and wide. Narrow gives you +2 to damage, while wide gives a -2 defense to the enemy. You can fire two bursts per pass, as they only take a simple action.  However, your first burst will have a -2 from recoil, and your second will have -3. Thankfully you have a weapon that reduces recoil by 2 so you really only have to worry about a -1 on the second shot.
Last turn you just said to use your assault rifle so I defaulted to semi-auto. Again: specifics are good.

Finding and reading the books is a good idea. It's a complex game, but in saying that, it reminds me of D&D 3.5 which is also complex but it also means that you can do ALOT of stuff within the rules. Just make sure you understand the actions you can take, know the gear you have and what your character is good at.

Ugh I'm so sorry for not posting in so long. I haven't forgotten, I swear!

Guinevere backs away from the door, moving to the right. She keeps an eye down the hallways, trusting that the three inside should be able to finish the job.
You glance down the hallway just in time to see another horribly mutated creature attacking something in the shadows. In a flash, blood begins to spray from its neck, its jugular cleanly sliced with some kind of blade. You barely make out an amber pair of canine-like eyes, glowing faintly in the shadows, before they disappear again.


The last surviving creature snarls and lunges at Hakron's throat.
Coyote(B): Attack Test (4)
Hakron: Dodge Test (2/4)
Hakron: Damage Resist (2/7)
Hakron manages to fight off his attacker, taking 5 damage in the process.

Drop my gun and attack with the axe for both passes!
Shoot the varmint! To clarify, the mutant coyote, not (insert name of random teammate).
Dropping your gun and readying your axe will take up this pass. Meanwhile, Mos has a shot to take.
Mos: Pistols Test (0)
Mos: Pistols Test (2)
Coyote: Defense Test (2)
Your shot barely grazes the creature, and it doesn't even seem to notice.

Second verse same as the first, put the buggers down with another (two narrow bursts)

Another head explodes in a pink mist. The creatures are dead, and you have free reign of this storage room.

Look for the mainframe! Make sure to pick up and reload my gun from before.

The mainframe is at the very back of the room. It's a console set into the wall around 5 feet high, currently blinking red.

The room is mostly full of compter parts and broken shelves. Broken glass litters the floor, soaking in spilled chemicals. The whole place reeks of sulfur and formaldehyde.

She casts Clairvoyance at a strength of 5, looking down a hallway for a glimpse of what killed the creature.

Whatever it was, it was definitely magical, but then again, not much in this basement isn't. You barely catch a glimpse of a humanoid figure before it disappears around a corner. You attempt to follow it with your clairvoyance, but everything becomes hazy and out of focus as soon as you round the corner.



Be pulled
You are pulled over the edge of the jagged hole in the roof and met with the worried smile of your cop friend.
"I've gotta warn you, I was only able to come back for your ass because every Lone Star within two miles got a call over here. You're stirring up a wasp's nest and I'd say you've only got five minutes before this place is swarming with cops, so you'd better slot and run now while you still can. I'd take the fire escape down the back to the alley if I were you."



escape to the real world erasing any traces of my being there as I go.
You skillfully replace your entry logs with random user data in a matter of seconds, before letting your mind lose focus and slipping back into reality. As your surroundings fade back to the dull gray walls of the van, you notice a rather shady looking man attempting to force his way into the driver's seat.

Locate and, ahem, "borrow" some of the more valuable computer parts. Assuming that any are worth taking out of here.

Unless someone has a better idea of what to do. I can't even really remember our objective...something with a prototype, I think...
