Yep that's what I got! But I may have missed some text-logs. For instance, in one of the last ones I got from the Dracogenics, The Mother was starting to present anomalies in her code. I think the log's called "Just Ones and Zeroes".
So I guess they thought they managed to turn her into a robot, but she was still alive, modern robocop style.
Did you read the mission description for the last Eternal compound? The Eternals were buying/making/storing/moving a lot of gear. So I guess she wanted to take over the world, instead of actually wiping it out.
Still, what I didn't understand was this:
1 - Why would she kill innocent people?
2 - Why would she want to take over the world?
3 - How can satellites be used as missiles? Wouldn't they just become puny shrapnel after reentry?
My own replies:
1 - She did that to lower Eternal losses and be able to instantly take over whatever remains, I guess. Eternals used to kill and experiment on innocents already, so it's not surprising.
2 - Dragogenics programmed her to do that (to become a leader for all), and she went overboard with it.
3 - They just rushed it.
Usually I don't get this confused or interested, but this really wasn't the best way to tell a story. There was no custcenes or actual characters appearing or interacting during gameplay, so it's all up for the player to read.
It could have been so cool. God damn it this industry. God damn it my expectations.
