"Battle? Hell no! I'm just planning to get out of the catacombs and just hide somewhere that I can easily escape from. I just want the equipment as a precaution."
William scans the area for somewhere that he can hide from as well as any safe exits from the palace.

"Clever man. It's probably best for the both of us to stay away from the combat. I'm more of a cleanup sort, really."

"I concur, combat isn't really one of my strong points either. Let's just try to keep out of the way and see how we can assist when the battle ends."

Aria growls, frustrated that she couldn't get a good hit on Ceryx.

AHHHH! STAND STILL AND LET ME KILL YOU! IF you want to play it that way, I'll just destroy your little friends first.

Aria, true to her word, starts laying into the shades with her teeth and claws, alongside her ice magic in the form of ice balls, ice blasts etc and obviously the ice-charged claws.

I LOVE being a werewolf! Makes me wish i was a proper, full one.... She says mentally to Adam.

"You seem unusual."

Continue killing shades.

((Seriously, is it so much harder to run RotMG combat than this game's combat?))

Mahriana pick up a large two handed battle axe, one handed. With it feeling so light, she could be forgiven for swinging it at a wall to see if it was a weapon and not made of balsa wood as a joke on the green recruits. The wall collapsed. After freezes for a few seconds, just in case that wall was supporting, she head for the throne room.

William and Yolantha

You two land in a hallway. William knows that there no guard storeroom nearby. You can go forward, toward the sounds of battle(seem about two rooms away) or backward(you can't hear anything.). William knows it were the first boom sounded from behind.

Fight

Kyle casts a wave of darkness at Ceryx. A sizzling sounds, but Ceryx is now free of the ice, which is now blackened and warped. Aria lays into the shades, sending the frozen bodies of six of them flying. Bitesti's blade seeks the last members.

Ceryx look at his foes as Mahriana walk in "Ice using werewolf, A vampire that royal guard, a helping demon and a endless walker. All we need now is an 'fallen' angel and the bandit queen and it like I'm back 1000 years ago. Oh well, I best end you all here before you become a thorn in the master's side." He said as his blade flashes. A gash appears through Kyle's arm.

The king has left the room for now. The captain's hammer is caught once more, but Ceryx get a right hook in the face by the captain.

((Naturally.))

"Well, you see, I was--"

Charge Ceryx unexpectedly, trying to catch him off-guard. Stab him through the heart!

Kyle hisses as his arm is cut.
"There are many words I want to say to you and none of them are good."
And then he goes back to fighting.

Aria dodges around Ceryx's attacks all the while throwing balls and shards of ice at him, trying to get behind him so that she can attack his back and/or disable his sword arm.

Any ideas on how to defeat this son of a bitch, Adam? Aria mentally asks her always-there companion.

"Hm. I think I will go and see what's happening with the battle. You can follow if you wish, good sir."

Head in the direction of the battle. Don't head into the thick of things, but keep my distance from any fighting.

Mariana smiles, an act that is far less pretty in this form, as her left cheek tears open slightly. "I like this...a lot." She takes the battle-axe and slams it into a wall or pillar, then organizes the breaking stones and materials into sharp spears, which get flung at tremendous speed towards the weird shade guy. "Hey...am I doing...this right, then?" after flinging the stone spears. She shambles towards him quickly, then uses the battleaxe in both hands, swinging for the legs. If she missed, the floor should send up shards that she wouldn't feel and would hopefully slow him down.

Bitesti rushes Ceryx, but he manged to push you to side. "Partner! I can only hold the transformation for 20 seconds more."(two more actions) Chris inform you.

Kyle attacks, drawing blood from Ceryx. Grace's voice start up "Do not get cocky. I seen this guy hold off an army with one arm missing and blinded. Also shades have blood, vile tasting, but good enough for us to heal with."

Aria dances around the battlefield, frosting up Ceryx. Adam thinks on her question "If someone busy him on his right, Kyle can take off his left arm with his speed, no probs."

Mariana walk into battle "The pillar that third on the right is simply standing." Her axe take out said pillar and her free hand thrust at Ceryx. The most of storms of spears is deflected, but some get through. Her axe swing at him, but his broadsword stop it arc "Seem we are not at our full strength yet."

Ceryx is then flung away by the Captain's attack, unable to react due to Mariana's pressure.

"Hm. I think I will go and see what's happening with the battle. You can follow if you wish, good sir."

Head in the direction of the battle. Don't head into the thick of things, but keep my distance from any fighting.

You head to outside the throne room where The king and queen are about to join the fight.

"I'll follow, it's a good idea to find out who we're up against."
William retrospectively follows Yolantha.

Aria tries to mentally contact Kyle to tell him to attack Ceryx's left side once she herself attacks him from his right.

She specifically tells Kyle to try and cut off at least his left arm. His left leg would be helpful as well.

With that done, Aria launches more attack on the powerful shade, distracting him. She tries to mentally contact Mahriana to see if she can help distract him as well.
