"Well I damned hope so, if it's really caused by someone who isn't a threat, then chances are the king will have the decency to send people down here to get us out."

"I doubt it will be soon, what usually happens when this happens is guards are sent to make sure Fumblemore is okay and then we do damage control. The king really like to keep is top scientists alive you know."

"*sigh*In that case, any idea of where the other exits are?"

"There are three more left and we're heading to the nearest one right now. If things go according to plans we could go by the hall of kings, that's where they put the previous kings. And one queen but we don't talk about king Mercury to much."

"Very well, I doubt all the other exits could be blocked." Assuming of course, that the problem is as innocuous as Kyle's suggestion.

"Even if they are it will at most be a day or two until someone comes and gets us out. You won't starve in that time."

"Good to hear; should we search for other people who may have dropped down here? If there are, chances are, some of them wouldn't know their way out."

You see we were actually going to a secret exit that guards are taught to use because the main exit goes through the main hall and people get worried about guards going through there for some reason. But that's blocked off so we're going to go to the main exit."

"What the the other two exits?"

"One goes to the library and the other one I would have to kill you if I told you."

What good would it be to have guards moving through the catacombs? there are plenty of secret passageways and diversion routes in the main palace. I should know, i usually used them whilst my fathers weapons and armour was being unloaded to explore the palace when you guards weren't looking.

"Do you know how often this happens? The catacombs are the most supported area of the castle, the only thing to watch out for is falling things and the occasional giant rodent."
