((I specifically said she thought really hard. She didn't start shrieking, she was thinking it in her head, really loudly. ANd if pulling out a knife is a threat, why isn't pulling out a hammer?))

((Because there was a threat before that threat. If the hammer is drawn first then the hammer wielder is the threat before the knife wielder.))

((She did pull out the hammer first...))

"Owww..." Mahriana mutters...could they hear her thoughts? Maybe she'd accidentally said that out loud...why did they throw a hammer at her? She could tell some of her ribs were broken just from the way it hurt...if she could stand, she'd stab that bitch in the neck...but she couldn't. Tears rolling down her face in pain, she picks up the hammer and drags herself over to one of the graves, almost crawling. Then she lifts up the hammer, and slams it as hard as she could into the tombstone, in the hopes that one of them would break.

Kyle sighs and grabs the bridge of his nose before sheathing his weapons and walking over to the woman and grabbing the hand she was using to swing the hammer.
"Please stop. Not only is it illegal you also are not helping any injures you have."

Mahriana spits. "And that bitch breaking my ribs isn't!?"

((Derp, she grabbed the hammer. MISTAKES EVERYWHERE))

"Ma'am please calm down. We are all down here for a while... And now even longer no thanks to someone."
Kyle glares at the aforementioned someone before turning back to the work at hand.
"But I think we can save the arresting for later when we aren't in the catacombs of a castle that is under attack. Do you think you could deal with me helping you stand or carrying you?"

"Or, if you insist on a non-insane helper, I could be of assistance."

"That...might be nice. Yes, thank you." She accepts the help gratefully, her practiced beauty showing even through the pain and tears. "Sorry about my...outburst. I must have been thinking out loud."

Kyle nods and goes to pick her up bridal style.
"In case you didn't know my name is Kyle."

Mahriana laughs. This must all be a nightmare or a dream. Probably both. The captain of the guard, helping her...and the castle falling apart. It was enough to make someone hysterical. Calming herself down, she shakes her head slowly, a light smile on her face. "I can't believe I would tell you this. My name is Mahriana, and I truly hope none of you recognize the name." She glances at Bitesti and asks "Why do you believe he's insane, then? If anyone here is insane, it's probably every single one of us. Or me. Or her, maybe." she gestures at Aria with her chin.

"Sadly I do. On the other hand I could care less."
Kyle smiles gently.

"Heh. Yeah, I suppose the royal guards don't care much about the Emerald Tongue. Though I do hope it wasn't them who caused all this. Be a bit suicidal of them, even with how rich the bastards are." She wasn't afraid to use foul language. Her act of empty-headed court-lady was just that; an act, even if it was first taught to her by the Emerald Tongue. She'd been on her own and in the streets for a long time...

"Somehow that name is familiar."
Kyle looks of into space trying to recall where he heard of the emerald tongue.

((Huge, semi-criminal organization. Insanely wealthy. Sponsoring slave trade, normal trade, running some schools, etc. though their public face is of an orphanage that takes in young girls and trains them to be noblewomen, then marries them off. In a way, this can be good, as it lets them become high class where otherwise they probably would die on the streets. But it also gives them no choice, spends a lot of money to do this, beats them if they misbehave and such. Thus, why Mahriana fled, and why she's hunted; they want to make good on their investment.))

"A wide variety of individual acts which sane people are unlikely to do."
