Its fine, I think it was my fault for being vague.

Jim whistling a jaunty tune passes through the door leading to the reception area.  It would be nice if he could kill the executive in a more quiet manner but one doesn't always get what they want in life.  Things were undoubtedly going to get loud and messy sooner rather than later.  Hopefully at least the large crowds in the building will provide a nice distraction so that security forces can't fight him as effectively.  He wondered how much they care about civilian casualties and if they'd be willing to cause them in order to defend the target.  It didn't matter much to Jim if innocents died and in fact he planned to start shooting people as soon as he sees any.  That should hopefully keep anyone from getting close to him and trying to grab his weapons or incapacitate him in melee combat.

Hmm but no doubt when people see Jim entering in this way, most will start running away.  So if the security knows generally where the threat is coming from they will send security that way while having the target try and take an escape route other than the elevator which is the way Jim came from...

With those thoughts running through his head, Jim decided to quickly contact his dispatcher
Any chance you could update me on any stair ways or other elevators that the target might try and utilize to escape?  They don't have a helicopter pad on the roof do they?

((Can I contact my boss/dispatcher at any time for information or intel?))

Not on this mission, but corps will generally tell you everything they know, since you're completely under their control.

Hang on a sec and let me draw you a floor plan.

There you go.
Spoiler: Floor Plan (click to show/hide)
The round thing in the middle is a circular reception desk. S1 and S2 denote the two emergency stairwells.

Yeah that's very helpful.  More open than I thought in there.  So did I plant the explosives on the elevator I just came out of or at one of the elevators near the stairs?

You've got explosives set to take out the cables for all the main elevators at once. You can detonate at any time.

Angus turns round. "What's it to you?" he grunts. Internally, however, he is very worried. "Strange man, knows my name, seems fairly suspicious, yep he is probably the one who is trying to kill me. Stay calm, stay calm. Just act normal." Just turn round and confirm that it is me. If he does anything hostile, attack him with my mind to distract him for a second or 2, and go for my gun.

RAM_Wilhelm T.
You locate a nearby terminal and after a bit of digging you pull up a directory, though its quite uninformative. It seems that you're in one of the maintenance hallways near the primary hangar. If you continue along this corridor, it should lead you directly into the hangar, and from there you could probably look for a locker room or something and get some street clothes, and then you'd have to figure out some way down to the public levels. Alternatively, there's an access panel in this same corridor that you could take that'd take you there right now without having to deal with any gangs or station security. You're still not sure what kind of crowd this is, so either path could present some serious possible risks. You're not sure you could bluff your way past a head scan if these guys turn out to be Nationalists or something.

Harry Baldman_Churchill W.
You think about taking the package back to your apartment and carefully running it through a highly sophisticated, time-consuming battery of tests in order to determine whether or not the contents will kill you or not. Whatever. You just rip the damn thing open. You find two cards inside, and you slot them into your car's computer. Funds transferred. There, that should last you a while. The company doesn't have any jobs for you right now, so you've got plenty of time to kill. You could either go see if Takumi has any work for you, or go burn some of that dosh you just earned. Or both.

kingfisher1112_Simmons S.
You don't know much about borgs, but it looks like these ones kept their old skulls. Should be simple enough just to air em' out. Shit. You notice a lot of quick movement going on inside. Pretty much everything is a blur as the crowds all make a collective rush for the elevators, and you guess that your partner must've already started shooting. When some of the feedback fades you can make out a bunch of security officers pinning down your buddy while a borg gets ready to turn him into swiss cheese.

Zako_Markowitz R.
Ah! My Lady Markowitz! Its been too long, surely! And yes, as a matter of fact, I could use an extra pair of hands, as it is. When can you leave?

gman8181_Friendly J.
You shoulder through the door, sub energy gun in hand. No one notices you right away except three men that were heading directly for the door. One you recognise as another security officer like the two you left lying in puddles on the floor back in the maintenance hall, and he's leading the way, thus he spots you first. The two men tagging along behind him are dressed much differently, one in a tailored business suit and the other in a dark leather trench coat that billows behind him as he walks. They seem to be engaged in a one-sided conversation, and don't even notice anything is amiss until the man walking in front of them is suddenly riddled with bullets. You open up, cutting the guard down and sweeping your aim towards the exec and his partner that are trailing not far behind behind. The man in the coat grabs the exec and pushes his head down, shielding him with his body and guiding him towards the reception desk. At the same time he draws a magnum with his free hand and begins firing at you. You flinch as several rounds hiss past your head and you're forced to move, missing the opportunity to kill the target as the man, obviously a bodyguard, throws the exec over the round reception desk before leaping over it himself. You turn your attention to the guards nearest the door you came through who are just beginning to react to the crisis and cut loose, dropping all of them where they stand. You spin back round, ejecting a steaming energy cell and pushing another one into the feed. You can see two cyborgs at the far end of the room near the main elevators, but they along with the other guards in that half of the room are still pushing their way through the crowd to reach you. Another cyborg is closer however, and is rounding the far side of the reception desk to reach you. In the meantime around four or five guards who were behind the counter are keeping you pinned down with handgun fire. You fire a burst to keep them down and catch one of them in the shoulder. They stop shooting to take cover, but the cyborg has finished rounding the counter and his dual chainguns are spinning up. There isn't any cover nearby aside from the reception desk.

Xantolos_Harker D.
You sit down next to the man. He stares at you and shifts uncomfortably, moving the briefcase he had resting on his right side atop the bench, nearest you, to the opposite side. Angus Frace? Suddenly the man seems incredibly angry. His brow furrows and he growls. What's it to you? His left hand moves to the case sitting on his left side.

Jembot_Frace A.
A strange man sits down on your right. Could this be him? You move the case between you and him. He turns and addresses you, in a tone thats not unkind. Angus Frace? Shit. Thats got to be him. You try to play it cool and talk back. What's it to you? Your grip tightens on the case.

Aseaheru_B0b C.
You're almost to the entrance to the maintenance hall when the door opens. You're only half paying attention due to the exec's incessant babbling so its almost a full second before you realise he's armed. You yank the exec back and down right as the assassin opens up, his gunfire tearing into the hapless guard that was escorting you not moments ago. You pull the whimpering exec behind you and push him towards the reception desk, the only cover in the entire room, and draw your FireHawk, blasting at the hooded gunman as he tries to shoot you. You toss the exec over the desk with one hand and back over it yourself, still putting rounds past the ducking man with the submachine gun. You land in a heap atop the sobbing exec and right yourself, keeping your head down and letting the magazine fall from your hand cannon even as the circular desk rumbles with the repeated impact of gunfire. You key your IN-COM and put out a message to the entire security staff in the building. This is the Chief! Some prick just tried to cut me in half! Put the building on full alert and evacuate everyone! We have an intruder on level 50! I repeat, intruder on level 50! You yank the slide back on your FireHawk and stick it over the edge of the desk, blasting in the direction of the assassin.

Scott looked through his scope as the chaos began to unfold. " Shit." He murmured as the security guards began to open up. He took aim, somewhat hurried by the impending threat of the Cyborg's weapons. He lined the scope up and popped off a shot. He reloaded and scanned for more targets. "Hmmm..." He noticed that a few men were hiding behind the reception desk. " It is HE ammo..." He lined up a shot on the floor that he could see, aiming so the shrapnel would hit the men hiding. He squeezed the trigger and let another round loose.

((Could you PM me IC information about the things I currently know and own, plus any people I have contacts with? It doesn't feel good to be in the dark about pretty much all of my IC knowledge except the immediate details. Quite irritating for me, actually. Interferes with making plans.))

Chill. Try subtly poking through the minds of the people in the plaza.

You have a car and a handgun and an apartment. You know a guy named Takumi who regularly has work for you. The relationship is strictly business. Thats all.

There's really not much to this. I've just got one or two contacts for everyone except Zako, and everyone has at least a car and an apartment. Some of you are already on your first jobs, some of you are at the tail end of one. Some of you are on-world or off-world for these assignments. If any of you has more than someone else (for example: gman is armed to the teeth) its because a job required it.
