"Uh..." Selina hands her a notebook and pencil.

[Empiricist]

Cyrielle has completely calmed down. "Okay, that explains a lot. What are they anyway? The one that attacked me just set by bed on fire, tackled me twice and then just gave up."

[Twi]

Stella nods and begins to rapidly write down a metric fuckton of notes. Surprisingly neatly, at that.

[Empiricist]

"Where's everyone else? Would having a bunch of annoying pyromaniac blobs run amok wake up everyone here?"

[RangerCado]

"I... I don't know..." Selina looks around, worried.

[OREOSOME]

The clock strikes twelve.
All electronics shut off. Anyone not aware of the Dark Hour is immediately turned into a coffin. Anyone who is aware , or anyone who has the potential, stays awake.

All water is turned to blood. The sky is green, and the moon seems more menacing than usual.

Catherine wakes up with a start, or really notes the strange changes, due to her sort of sitting half awake, thinking about things.
"What... what's going on?"
Catherine quickly fumbled through her room for a flashlight, which she clicks on, and she see's... well, the coffin that's supposed to be her brother. She understandably flips out, and flee's like the wind. In fact, she runs out into the streets, screaming all the way.
"Oh my god, help! What's happening?!?"

Stella taps Cyri on the shoulder.

"Sleeping drugs? Coincidence?"

[Empiricist]

"I wonder... maybe we could capture one and tame it so that we could keep it as a pet? I would be quite interesting..."

[RangerCado]

Selina jumps when she hears the screaming, looking around frantically for the screaming person.

[Twi]

Stella chuckles at Cyri (because I'm calling her that, Empiricist) and her idea.

"...maybe."

She also notes the scream, turning towards where it came from.

[Empiricist]

Cyrielle turns towards the screaming person. And examines their appearance.

Yuri also turns to the screamer, eyebrow raising, looking them over to see what is needed.

Nuriel grabs Angel. "Um, bad news. I think that thing is still alive, and the house is burning down. C'mon, Angel, let's leave. Angel stops screaming and starts shaking uncontrollably. Nuriel sighs, picks her up, and hurries out of the house.
"Great, just great. Where is everyone not coffinified?" Nuriel starts to look for signs of other humans, such as screaming, panicking, or burning houses. Well, other than hers. ...Which could be a problem, now that she thought about it.

Bismuth reflects on herself as her specialized claymore cuts through yet another shadow, dissipating it into the darkness. That monster belonged in this place more than she did.

She couldn't really be called human now. Her soul was...wrong. Unnatural. She didn't really...well..this whole thing was so alien to her. She didn't seem to play well with the whole Shadow and Persona things in general, in any case. In fact...

She remembered the night she came here, the first night it happened. She had been in a park, just taking a walk and getting the feel of her new home. So far, her recent life had been a blur of drifting and boredom. She was rather unsatisfied, feeling like she was doing nothing and just wasting her time...

 At the clock striking twelve, everything stopped. Something went horribly, horribly wrong. She was trapped. Trapped inside something small and dark...but she was still awake. And she did not appreciate being inside such a small space. Her sword barely even fit with her. It was maddening.

She remembered grunting, shoving on the walls that held her. She felt weakened, her consciousness fading. Bismuth still didn't know what was happening.

But then, as her eyes were about to close, she gave whatever was in front of her a good hard kick, and then she was free. The door collapsed onto the ground, and whatever was trying to make her fall asleep lifted. She stepped out into the night, and what a strange night it was. She had been in a coffin, somehow- how did that even get there, much less trap her? The sky was green and menacing. Everything had lost power. Only the moon lit up the world.

She had little time to question what the fuck was going on. A bizarre monster came out of the darkness. She fought it and won. Then another. Then another. Several more.

That night had descended into an hour of raw destruction. Then and now, she started to laugh, then downright cackled gleefully as her blade bit into beasts left and right. She had found a purpose. She had found what was missing in her life. Battle.  Even better, no one ever seemed to mind. In fact, destroying these beasts was apparently a good thing! It made her heart pound with excitement and bloodlust...

She didn't care that she didn't belong. As she soon learned, Anna stood out even more than her. What mattered was that she was able to use that sword again.  These days, she'd also grown attached to this school and to people again... but yet she still felt her life would be incomplete without this daily slaughter of....psychology monsters or whatever they were. She was protecting people, but that was an accident. That first night, it'd been her against an alien world...and she'd stomped that world into the ground all on her own. She'd keep doing so, whether for herself or for someone else. It didn't matter. No matter how much things changed, that feeling she got from destroying these bizarre abominations wouldn't change. It was quite a wonderful feeling.
