"That. Never. Happened. It can't happen. When it did happen, in another timeline, it ended in Selina and Maria quite possibly breaking up because of it. Therefore, I destroyed that whole timeline back until before that happened and shifted the fragments into one that does not include that portion.

Would you rather they be broken and despairing? I can put it back if that's what you want!"

She pauses, shaking violently.

"Don't pretend to know why I do things. Hate me. Fear me. Despise me. That's what I deserve."

She turns, vanishing into nothingness, seemingly, not a single trace she was ever there at all.

So what if you lost your loved one? At least you know he's alive. You know where mine is? Dead. Double for Maria and Selina. Speaking of which, I know damn well Maria would have forgiven Selina. She's just that kind. You on the other hand, I doubt would be.

As for being a god, I've met a god before. He was less of an asshole. He was grumpy, but he was cool grumpy, like an old man, and his entire pantheon was dead. He got on with his goddamn life.
