Cyrielle observes her surroundings, aside from Conny and Kyle along with a now immobile Angel, she didn't recognize anything familiar near her. The area consisted of an expansive park filled with sakura trees with long winding footpaths crisscrossing across the grass. Or rather, the lack thereof. Where there would normally be grass was an endless, void perpetually illuminated by the sunlight that seemed to filter in from every single portion of the slightly cloudy sky. Cherry petals slowly drifted in the air, falling at varying speeds from an unknown, undefined source above the trees. The cascade of petals cast single shadows in seemingly random directions while their sources capriciously floated down into the bright abyss below, forming a stunning phantasmagoria of delicate floral scents and brilliant, vibrant colors. The footpaths appeared to consist of normal, high-quality cement, until close inspection reveals that heat-expansion was apparently never considered in their design, they were smooth, continuous tracks of aesthetically homogenous rock. Yet their most striking feature was not their appearance but rather, what was below them. There was nothing below them. Absolute, pure nothingness. Trying to inspect the underside of the foot path proves to be futile as there is no underside. The footpaths seem to be located at the bottom of the endless void yet from all other perspectives they levitate infinitely high above the theoretical bottom. Benches and bins haphazardly litter the thin air above the void, holding silent vigil in this quite, partially defined world. An unconventional, yet surprisingly elegant conglomeration of Neomodern, Greek, Gothic and Traditional Japanese design aspects are utilized in their ornate design. Structures of similar designs are sporadically located around the area in small clusters. Cautiously waving her hand on the air next to the pavement, Cyrielle realized, much to her surprise that the air at the same altitude as the surface of the footpaths seemed to be solid with the soft but slightly springy texture of grass.
"I think @Empiricist was torn between defining this place as some sort of eldritch plane and defining this place as a romantic location and decided in favor of a compromise."
