Kyle facepalms at the dog that's willing to hand over what is probably a very important plot device to someone who will probably steal it and kick of an adventure for the ones who they stole them from.
And then puts his gun away knowing the GM will railroad him into giving up the pendant. Or outright killing him.

Kyle take off his pendant and gives it a very thorough look over.

Search for, examine, and hand over the necklace.
