Name: Adi Langer
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Description: Adi is a brunette with wavy hair going down to her shoulders, and green eyes, and white skin, though not pale at all. Adi is a somewhat tall girl (5'9''), with a build not slim nor average, but somewhat wide-framed.
Backstory: Adi Langer is the daughter of a minor (yet somewhat successful) supervillain gang boss, and somewhat of the oddball child in the family. Though she was raised with a silver spoon in her mouth, Adi nonetheless does not share her father's moral deficit, not at all, and now that she is at the age where she can pretty much reach self-sufficiency, she intends to do something about it- aided by her willingness to rebel, compared to her sisters and brother.
Intended Side: Hero
Motivation: Most people deciding not to follow a criminal family would probably get normal jobs. However, Adi being descended from a supervillain gang boss somewhat cancels out the chances of that. As such, she has decided to take a more independent path, having rented an apartment, and to become a hero as opposed to her father, who is a villain.
Favorite Superpower: Intangibility, as close an opposite to her father's super dense body as she can think of.

Spoiler: OOC (click to show/hide)

My name... Is Irving Love, and I'm the only man who sees the truth. I've known for as long as I've lived that we're being watched, by who I'm not sure however. As far back as I could remember, people would look oddly at times, take certain interest in certain things, have black wires coming out of their ears, talk to no one at times, wear shades even inside while wearing black suits, and even sometimes hiding in trashcans to watch others.

I've seen all the cleverly hidden cameras in televisions, streetlights, cats, milk cartons... But there wasn't anything to do about it, so I hid that I knew and pretended to live a normal life. Until the figured out and imprisoned me in a small, cloth-walled room with nothing but a box with words and paper after paper trying to make me submit to them. But I didn't give in, no, I escaped and came here, to try and figure out the source. With the help of this contraption that I built that would let me instead snoop on them, there's nothing they can't hide from me, not anymore. But I can't let them catch on, not yet, not when I have so little information...

I need thick clothing, something to hide my headgear from prying eyes and the many video cameras that plague this place. I've managed to clear them all out of my apartment, either through clever wiring or just removing them, but it will only last for so long before the fix them. Hm... A hoodie? Surely I have one in here somewhere...

Wonder why I have a minus one to getting a job while I make an illusion that makes it seem that I'm not in my cell. Contemplate becoming a villain.
[5] You do so. Several minutes later, a passing guard notes your absence and promptly alerts the other guards.
Hm. Seems that escape would be a lot harder than it is in the movies.

Time for work, go to my job
Anything special you want to do today? Aside from sunset and sunrise, we're not going to be tied to any particular time schedule. Probably all the time-manipulating supers.

The Messiah. What a name, Oszkar thinks. Such promise, such wonder! But whatever happened to this blessed youngster, he wonders.
Well, time to find out!
Go to a library and use one of them newfangled computers that they've presumably got. Find info on this Messiah.
Ozkar heads to the local library and searches for "Messiah". [1] She seems to be in Israel.

check and pocket the "whats this" then stash the rest and use my new maps to plan a route to reach my company building undetected.

Disguise self and buy replacement laptop screen, head back to lair and fix my laptop.

[6] You disguise yourself, creating in your mind a persona for this disguise, a way he acts, thinks, walks.
As it so happens, this persona is startlingly similar to a snitch for a major local gang. Three big thugs, one of them covered in scales, notice you and corner you against a wall.

Charge in, guns blazing, come peacefully with the arresting officers.
Knife blazing, but whatever.
[2] You manage to make it almost ten whole feet before a super (probably one of those public heroes) tries to stop you. Turns out, you don't need super-strength for a strong punch--turning your fists scaley works just as well. You surrender and are placed in jail. [5] The cell next to you is empty, and this seems to have disturbed the guards.

Go out! Patrol for evil! Because yeah!
[1] You run into a guy who definitely looks evil: He has claws, an exoskeleton, and dresses in an orange-and-red suit. Aha! Battle plan?

(Damn, that limits its usefulness a lot.  Oh well.)

Ok, how about this: a black, plain hoodie over a black t-shirt, loose black track pants, thin white gloves, white running shoes, and a plain white face mask.  Also, noise-dampening earplugs.  Wear the amulet underneath the t-shirt, in contact with my skin, leaving the hoodie open so it doesn't muffle the noise.  Face mask goes on the face, earplugs in the ears, hood over the head.
Finally, get myself a weapon.  Anything available, though a gun would be preferable.

Grab a kitchen knife, go out and look for crime.
You consider purchasing a more conventional superhero costume, before going for a more minimalistic costume. The total cost is around $120, but a quick withdrawal from your bank account fixes that. You grab a kitchen knife and head out to fight crime!
[1] (Meh, why not?) You see a crab-monster attacking what looks like some kind of poorly-washed superhero guy!

-rp snip-

You grab a hoodie and use it to hide your...special hat. What now?

Adi Langer: [2,1,2] Lucky you.
Adi is glad to finally be on her own, without her father's control over her. Of course, it didn't pan out. She got her house, car, and was working on finding a job when a couple of sorcerers working for her father attacked her. About the best thing about it was that the two didn't get along, causing them to toss the occasional spell at each other. This lead to a massive magical burst caused by a combination of a miscast spell by one, a mildly malicious spell by the other, and a spirit with bad luck lead to the worst magical accident of the year, and among the worst this decade. This lead to (among other things) one of the sorcerers dying horribly, the other turning into a sentient toad, and Adi transforming into a silver statue. After about four days, Adi regained her ability to move. Now, she's made of what the doctor called "semi-organic silver". It's kinda flexible--she even has individual strands of silver for hair. Perhaps the worst part, in her mind, is that this makes her not so much different than dear old Dad...

((Sorry for not updating sooner. I would have updated yesterday or so if it wasn't for Writer's Block on Adi.))

briefly consider my mental state when i first transformed and attempt to replicate it.

If that fails ask them what they want after explaining im not the other guy, if they dont believe me the demand that they take me to their boss so that i may clear up this misunderstanding and provide him with a lucrative business opportunity.

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

Oh, come on! Where's the Fun in that?
Or the glory? Any super can take on a mugger or a carjacker, but a supervillain...

Hmhmhm, yes this will work quite well, very well, very very well. It will hide my invention, it will keep their prying eyes and mechanical vices away from me. For now at least, I have no doubt that I'm already behind the curve, just now making something they've had for who knows how long. But this should perhaps provide interference, yes? Hopefully inconspicuous, although I will have to make due if not, after all its better than them actually knowing what I know. If they don't already know, that is...

Irving sighed. I need to figure out who this enemy is though, who they are, what they are, where they are, how they think, breathe, feel, everything. Everything. I must become like them in order to beat them, anyone could hold the pieces to the elusive puzzle that has been eluding me my whole life. I've practiced being normal though, average, boring, background, its been my shield for so long that while they cast an eye everywhere and anywhere, they never did a specific one. But now, my actions are bold, perhaps too bold... But no matter, all the cameras gone have been excused through more mundane tasks, and with this I can stay a step ahead of their step ahead, yes yes.

First! First I must make sure I looked normal, then I must immerse myself back into society so they don't know anything is wrong, yet at least. I don't want them to know who is doing this, why, how, but I do want them to know... The cameras though, they'll be in full force out there. In hats, coats, cars, streetlights, windows, fire hydrants... Heh, you thought water came out of those things? Poor deluded people, only I know the reality, the duality of what is seen but what is real. I must fix this, but I must do it carefully...

[Bad things are ahead, I feel it. I can't quite say for who though.]

Yeah no.  I'm not going up against some armoured supervillain armed with nothing but a knife and a useless trinket.  I'm starting small and working my way up.  First on the list: find and stop petty crime.
