So I've been running the Everyday cheer for the unlucky giveaway for a while now, which was meant to give a little joy to those who find themselves on the wrong side of happiness (and I encourage you to read the original giveaway text).

I guess not too many people are miserable, which is great!, but not many games were gifted away, so I think it's time to do something new: let's just make the world a better place by giving games away!

Giveaway: the rules!

The rules are pretty simple.

• To enter, post in this thread
• You must be a contributing member of this community (Escaped Lunatics need not apply)!
• You can ask for one game at a time
• First come, first serve
• If you get a game, you must promise to perform a random act of kindness to someone else
• To avoid this becoming a trade thread, giving games away does not count as an act of kindness
• Eventually report the act of kindness (if it's not kinky!) in the forum

So the general idea is that in order to get a game, you must make someone's life a little better. Volunteer at local charities, help an old lady cross the street, give some money to those in need, smile at someone who is looking down, offer a shoulder to cry on, make dinner for your family, help someone carry their shopping home, anything!

Bonus internet brownie cookie points if instead of a single act of kindness, you just generally become kinder. Society isn't about "me, me, me", it's about being part of a community and helping it out selflessly. Everyone has emotions just like you do, and we, as a race, are becoming increasingly blind to that fact... once we become acutely aware of it, it becomes so much easier to help someone who is going through a rough time. And then the world becomes a better place
